Hot Wheels.  Remove the tampo and it’s pretty much Michael Long’s Pontiac from Knight Rider before he became Michael Knight and drove around in KITT.

My haul from the last couple of weeks.  All brand new, never opened/sealed.  Special thanks to @Kicker773 for the Stealth.  Never thought I'd be able to get that sucker back as brand new.

I tried to tell myself I wouldn’t buy anything outside my preorders for the rest of the year but I couldn’t pass on all these goodies I stumbled upon this past week…

How much did you pay for that vf-31a and the nightmare? How is your nightmare btw? A hand grenade like the reviews say?

Not exactly toys, but I'll have fun building them and organizing displays  for my Macross, figures, and Aliens in them.  I got 3 detolfs and a cabinet to put them on.  Should be over 7' with storage below and no displays sitting unseen on the floor.  Gotta get some LED strip lights tho.

$530 for VF-31A and $290 for VF-171 shipped. The 171 has turned to an off white color even though it was sealed but it’s not too bad to bother me. No other issues.

No other issues, until you try to transform it...

Thanks, it's been a busy couple of weeks.  Slowly getting all the old Valks I've been wanting.  Eventually, I'll be able to just focus on new releases.

incoming goodies of the past weeks:

Michael's VF-25G to complete my Robot Spirits Side VF collection (Though there's not much to collect 😉):

My first Hasegawa kit for more than two decades: Crusher Joe's Galleon in 1/35 scale even with the main cast figures. Now I can give up being sorry for selling my smaller 1/48 vintage kit some years ago.

And finally: Wasp Girl 1/12 from Snail Shell - Initially it was an impulse buy but now I'm extremely happy 'cause this figure is of an awesome quality (you can even move her eyes in an direction you like):

And still waiting for Metalbuild Dynames Repair III which is stuck a customs - That really sucks! 😣

I have been tempted to buy that Wasp Girl but the last thing my shelves need is another random figure.

That’s always my thought, too. So I started to sell or store away older figures which importance to me declined. Also to avoid overcrowded shelves. But that is often a hard decision  to make 😉

Wayne Knight’s likeness is good when seeing it in person.  The glasses are not good.

Man these Gijoe figures are looking great! I wanna get one or two, but you know how the rabbit hole gets deep really quickly.

BTW, this might be small enough to be considered a toy.

Wow, you managed to get one of the rare 1:1 scale toys!?  Congrats.  Mazda makes amazing toys. :good:  OOOOH, and a stick shift too!  And a hard top.  noice.

Uh, you might have a leak tho, behind the front wheel?  It's probably from the right arm transformation hydraulics.

It took me over 7 years to find this exact one, with the right trim, and packages. I got it a few months ago, and it is a blast to drive. This is the "fat one", and the most disliked MX-5 in the Miata community. I changed the overlysoft and blown Blistein suspencion with MeisterR coilovers, got light rotary forged wheels & lugnuts, and beefed up the cooling tank with a racing one. I changed all it's fluids using youtube, and I just gave her an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. Not sure this qualifies as a toy, but honestly it is smallest thing on the road when I am driving >.<

Ha ha, the funny thing is... If you replace the windshield and you don't change the seals which hold the front windshield cowl, you WILL get a leak over your carpets. I have only bought Manual transmission cars my entire life. Hard top was a necessary thing for me, and I love the profile of it. The MX-5 It is a fun toy, including its tiny rev happy engine. It is amazing how much speed can carry through the corners tho. always wanted one of these, and finally I got it for the right price.

What I am getting trouble finding is a 1:18 scale Autoart with retractable hard top, for a fair price. These days it is easier to find a 1:1 scale, than it is to find a 1:18 scale. 😩

I don't really follow Miata's but I like "fat" cars, especially if it means wider stance or beefier tires. Part of why I did the OEM Widebody conversion on my S4. Sounds like you have the right idea making the changes where it counts when it comes to a driver's car. All I know is Miata's have always been fun cars and I was surprised when I heard the newest shares the Z4 platform.

Nice pair of Valks there too!

Congrats!  I've had a 2000 since 05 and it has never failed to put a smile on my face with how obscenely fun these glorified go-carts are to throw around roads of all kinds... especially twisty ones.

@Slave IV -  I question you on the quote that the Miata shares the same platform as the Z4.. 🤔 The present Fiat (and the suped up Abrath model) shares the same Mazda Eunos/Miata chassis, however the present Toyota Supra shares the BMW Z4 chassis (that's why you see BMW's guts and trim reused on the Supra but with the Toyota logo emblazed on it).

As much as I do like the Eunos/Miata, my heart always preferred the Suzuki Cappuccino/Daihatsu Copen/Nissan Figaro.

You are absolutely right, my bad! The Supra/Z4 was even more surprising to me. I haven't been keeping up with car stuff lately as I prefer the older days of "analog" motorsport. Let me feel the road and what the car is doing and control it myself. Only tech I really care about is quattro and I'll also take the mechanical versions over the digital.
