He played a serial killer in "The Watcher".

Just read a little about that. He claims he was forced into the role when someone forged his signature in the contract. Currently, it's his second-worst reviewed movie (10% on Rotten Tomatoes).

So Keanu in a bad guy role proved to be disastrous the first time around, but it was supposedly not of his choice. On the other hand, Man of Tai Chi is his pet project, so maybe he'll actually be a decent villain here.

"You owe me a life."

Finally got to see this film a couple of nights ago. Yes, Keanu Reeves is still an overrated actor and yes, he's the weakest part of this film, but Man of Tai Chi is a surprisingly good martial arts movie. Beyond all the fights is a moral lesson of one man's fall from grace and his struggle to find his resolve. And despite a lot of wire-fu, the fights are well-choreographed. Here are a couple of fights from the film.
