Axelay Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 For sale is a version 1 (GE-47) Armored Messiah set which includes everything you see in the pictures. Although I am typically very careful with all of my Valkyries (only ever had 1 other break dating all the way back to 1997), this particular one didn't help up so well after being transformed a few times. The damage is possibly repairable, but I have never had a good track record with using epoxy on my toys. I have included the broken parts in case a potential buyer might be interested in giving this a shot. There is no damage whatsoever to the armor, so you could also consider just getting a replacement Valkyrie to go with the armor. (Or maybe you want the armor to go on one of your other GE-47 Valkyries.) I now have a v2 Armored Messiah, so I'm letting this one go. And now, the visible problems. Both landing gear door hinge tabs are broken. They could either be reglued, or possibly recast. (See image below.) One of the hinges at the torso has broken. This would be a bit more complicated to repair, but the parts are included should you wish to attempt it.. These are the included broken parts. The landing gear door on the left has snapped one of the hinges off. The one on the right is still barely hanging on. The bottom piece is the "track" of plastic which should surround the metal screw/pin at the torso seen in the image above. It's almost broken in a complete semicircle, so this *might* be fixable. Since this is a load-bearing joint, though, I didn't want to attempt it. I am asking $75 plus shipping from Raleigh, NC for this. Please PM if interested. I'm pretty damn good at toy repair. it all comes down to the glue you use and how you spread it. I'll think about taking it off your hands!
