ultraman zoffy Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 Hey folks, just wondering if anyone can help me out with any advice on tightening up the SV-51 wings? My Ivanov's wings can't hold the "bent wing" position when loaded with the missiles and boosters... I was looking at the design and trying to figure out how to get to the hinge pins to thicken them up, but couldn't figure out anything. Any help is appreciated! Thanks. Add a drop to the underside on the exposed pin and work back and forth until it dries. I have to do it to ky Nora one day, but its a bit scary! mechaninac Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I'd try the super glue trick, but with clear nail polish first; if that solves the problem you don't have to risk the downside of CA: high possibility of marring the surface of the plastic from the residue it leaves behind due to its out-gasing.
