Liking what I see so far. Then again, ROTF has dropped my standards for TF movies so low that if AoE turns out to be somewhere along the lines of Armageddon or The Rock, I'll consider it a masterpiece.

Wahlberg's a definite improvement over Shia.

Woah woah woah..

Anyone is better than Shia.

Honestly I'm surprised Wahlburg bothered to be in this in the first place.

I mean has he seen the others? Has anyone from all three TF movies gone on

To do more movies besides Tyrese?

I think Transformers is as big of a career killer as Star Wars.

Tyrese is the poor mans Ford,

WUT??? :o

There is hardly (read no) a comparison between Tyrese Gibson and Harrison Ford. I don't have an issue with Mr. Gibson but Harrison's acting talent level is so far above Tyrese's it's not even funny.

Re: TF being a career killer, one could say Star Trek, Star Wars and just about any Sci-Fi franchise has the same effect. Hollywood loves to type-cast, look at Liam Neeson as a perfect example.

I'm still riding high from the anticipation of Optimus riding Grimlock. That alone will be worth the cost of my ticket.

Bay has just said he's leaving the two for another director.

Which IMO is dumb, a trilogy should be done together or prepare for crap.

1) Bay's track record so far I think indicates this is a good idea

2) Star Wars trilogy all directed by different people

3) If you aren't already prepared for crap, you should be

Star Wars was different, it was it's own Beast, with no other story's involved giving every Director is own

stylized version of a paper story.

Transformers are already plastered in time, in cartoons, comics, and now Movies.

Plus, when Bay leaves so does his cinematographer and AD and ect.

Changing the cinematographer changes the whole look of the film. I like the Film style of Bay's cine'.

I'm just imagining some new Director who's more interested in making love story's and skimmping on CGI for realism.

or worse, Stephen Sommers, Rob Cohen, Paul W.S. Anderson... yikes.

Disclaimer... I'm going to watch the movie. My brain will shut off, and I'll enjoy two hours of CGI robots beating each other up and explosions and Optimus Prime riding a dinosaur. I'll do this because I'm a sucker for Transformers.

That said, man, I didn't think it was possible for me to hate the Bayformers aesthetic more, but boy are AoE designs awful.

This (well most of that anyway). I actually kind of like the movie designs from the first three movies, Prime, Bumblebee and Sideswipe chief among them, but I'm not really keen on some of the Samurai-esq designs from AoE.

And I want a t-shirt of Prime riding Grimlock. The end.

I also want Slug to bash open a door, stomp in, look down at what the door fell on, and say "Excuse me."

Oh yes There has got to be some sort of homage to the Animated film, after-all this is the first time the Dinobots have been on the big screen since 86.

There were a few nods in previous films so I'm hoping there are going to be more, when it comes to our favorite pre-historic wrecking team.

Hmmm. I wonder if the dinosaur character in the movie will be "Grimlock" or "Dinobot". What I would give for a Beast Wars movie. (not done by Michael Bay)

Well there's: No Sam, No annoying parents, no humping dogs, and no Autobots with gold teeth. I'm kinda hopeful here.

Marky Mark, his daughter and her boyfriend - just saying, but I'm super-cautiously optimistic.
