Thank you @Lolicon, you are too kinda. I know I have had quite a few boring posts. :lol:ice shots to everyome!

Great shots everyone!

Well hey, I've developed a new appreciation for the effort you have to put into your shots. From getting camera settings right, to painstakingly setting up each shot, then post processing it... then having to reshoot it because you left a panel out of place or something.

That last one might just be me.

Hehe. Yes there is a lot that goes into a shot, thank you so much!  Oh yes, the dreaded reshoot.  I have had so many shots where I see a part is out of place or not set correctly or something got bumped or shifted while adjusting the placement of the figure/toy. :shok: It can be frustrating if you have figure that just doesn't want to cooperate (Sentinel Ride-Armors), but int he end the results are worth it.

Here is reshoot shot where the first shots of the VF-1A the Max pilot figure shifted so he was leaning to the right when I was placing the Valk.

Reshooting drives me nuts... It's even worse when doing videos. You'll be stitching things together only to realize you messed up along the way but now you've continued shooting so you have to go back, transform the toy, maybe transform other toys, and redo the video.

Maybe a 'spot the issue' group of photos would be fun.

Oh yeah, those damned pilots. I blue tacked mine into their seats so they wouldn't flop around the cockpit.  But yeah, like on my latest batch of VF-4 photos, I ended up reshooting the battroids like 4 times because there was one little thing or another. And even the final product isn't perfect, but it was late and I just said screw it.

Yeah, that sounds pretty frustrating.

I wish I had saved some of the screw ups, but here's one from awhile back. This one is an especially insidious one for me, because I often don't spot it till it's up on my 4k monitor. It's really easy to see on this one, but often it's very obscure. Can you spot it?

There's a stray cat hair on the right air intake. This happens all the damn time to me, and most of the time they're next to impossible to see even with the valk right in front of me, as the hairs are very fine. Only on the big monitor do I usually catch them.

A stray hair just randomly floats in on the air from time to time.

And sometimes I catch more than a hair in a picture.

Someone is trying to send you a message of sorts?  Like where's my snacks?

Harvey Dent always wants snacks, especially freeze-dried chicken. (Yes that's his name.)

It wasn't the first time he photo bombed me.

I can imagine how frustrating it is for video, I know there is alot of work that goes into them I give you lots of credit on all the work you do for your video reviews @jenius

Haha, lucky for me I don't have pets, but I do not like dust. Its good I can remove dust in post. Photoshop is my friend.  We should move the Photography/Video discussion over the old MWF photography thread. :)

Also you have a very nice helper in your photos. :)

Such a beautiful collection.

It brought a tear to my eye.

It’s always amazing to see such wonderful things I such a small space. Especially when the owner is just maintaining them and doing an amazing job caring for his collection.

This would make a great front drop for any hangar.

Nice pics everyone!

Here a little something... I was trying to fit the Bandai arm cannon on the YF-19 from Arcadia and it turned out better than I thought.

The arm cannon does not attach to the arm like it should because of the slots and pegs on the Bandai. But if you origami this into a small packet on the back of the packet a small handle will makes itself available and so the Arcadia can hold the pack to give a distinct weapon.

I thought it worked out pretty well.

I was trying to recreate that scene where Max finds himself in a Zentradi washroom but this was the wrong angle and there was no urinal.

But the washlet didn't turn out in this photo.  I think the Zentradi wouldn't have been so pissed off if only they could $hit in luxury.

This is pure Macross love.  Awesome photo set.  And if you don't get why the DX 1/48 is the best one out there, look no further than the gerwalk mode here.  Pure badassery IMO.
