94medition
[update 04/22] I was going to write this last update a few weeks ago, but has not had a chance to do so due to some personal events. Thank you so much for Excillion, Minelayer and ultimateone for participating in the auction. They have gone above and beyond in donation (such as finding donation matching and donating more than the price they won). I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. When I started the auction, my goal was to get more people involve to help with the earthquake/tsunmai relief effort. This thread was viewed 627 times. I am sure that some of these viewers helped out in the relief effort. It has been six weeks since the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. Unfortunately after the first couple of weeks, most attention has been focused on the Nuclear Plants instead of the people. Many people lost their lives and loved ones. It is a long journey to recovery. I wish the people in Japan the best. [see daily update at the end of the post][Auction closed] I am a Macross and Gundam fan. I grew up watching anime and Tokusatsu, and I love Japanese culture. I am really sadden by the tragedy in Japan and have been thinking about what I can help. I already donated to Red Cross and World Vision. I am hoping to get more people to help. I am going to donate some of the models and toys that I love to help Japan. All you have to do is to make your donation directly to Red Cross or World Visison. Here is how it works: I will set a starting price for all the items. Whoever is interested please post a price they would like to donate for the item(s). I am even paying shipping out of my own pocket. The "auction" will close on Wednesday (03/23) 11:30pm Central time. The member with the largest total amount for the items will win first. Then the member will the highest bid for the individual item is next. I am a busy family man with a full time job and two young children. I am trying to reducing the amount of packing/shipping and shipping cost if possible. If you win, all you have to do is to make a donation for the winning amount DIRECTLY to Red Cross or World Vision. Email me the confirmation email from Red Cross/World Vision, I will send the item(s) to you on Saturday 03/26. Please note that I DO NOT gain anything from this. I am basically donating the items as well as paying for shipping. You will get the item(s) for a good cause and a tax deduction from Red Cross or World Vision. I am sorry that this is for the U.S. members only. I will contact the winners through PM to get their mailing address and contact info as well as providing my email for them to send the donation confirmation. Please wait for my winning confirmation BEFORE you make the donation. I know that the For Sale & Trade section rules normally allow fixed price transaction only. I did email/PM Graham, Shawn and the moderators about this "auction". I have not heard from Graham and Shawn but did get response and ok from the mods. If you have already made a donation to Red Cross and World Vision before this auction, the amount you donated cannot count for this auction. Please do not send any altered or fake donation receipt. All I am doing here, as a anime/model/toy fan, is to hope to get more people involve and help. You will get something back you like for a good cause. If you have no interested in these items, that is okay too. Please consider to donate to whatever organization you are more familiar/comfortable to help. Some companies and organization would match your donation too. Don't miss the opportunity. A majority of my items are Gundam, hope you don't mind. Please spread the words if you know anybody is interested. Here is the list of items. They are "auction" as groups only (no individual sale). All items are brand new. Some boxes may have been flatten before for storage. But all runners are still in the original bag. 1. Macross 1/100 Destroid Pack. Defender, Phalanx, Spartan and Tomahawk. I bought these from a MW member here back in 2006. The Spartan is a 15th annersary edition. Starting price: $80. 2. 1/60 Perfect Grade Zaku. I love the PG but really don't have time to take on these huge projects any more. The box is a little beat up but everything inside is in perfect condition. Starting price: $115 3. MG Gundam. US version MG NT-1 and MG Char Zaku II ver 1.0. Starting price: $55 4. Bandai MC Getter and Mazinger. See the links for more info. U.S version S.I.C. Hadaider (Hakaida) vol 4 (only 1 figure) The U.S. version is exactly the same as the Japanese version except the packaging. Very detailed figure. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN72869 Starting price $30 All pricing includes shipping. Again, I am donating the items as well as paying for shipping. I do not get a penny back for the auction. Winners donate to Red Cross or World Vision DIRECTLY. Your donation is also tax deductible. Like I said I am a very busy dad, and I can only check the MW forum a few times a day. I will try to do an update for each item with the highest bid every night. If you are interested in the items, please post in the thread with you price. If you are not interested in the items, please please still consider to donate to Red Cross, World Vision or other organization to help. Please spread the word. Together, we can do something about the tragedy! If you can, pray for the people in Japan while they are going through this tragedy. Thank you and God Bless. [EDIT] Auction closed 3. MG NT-1 and Char Zaku II ver 1.0. Minelayer for $55 4. Bandai MC Getter and Mazinger. Excillon for $40. 6. U.S version S.I.C. Hadaider (Hakaida) vol 4. ultimateone for $35. 505thAirborne
My Bad 94medition, glad the mods gave you the thumbs up for this auction!! Come on guys start bidding!! Edited March 18, 2011 by 505thAirborne
94medition
Hi 94medition, thats a great selection of models and the reason for selling them is even better. However your prices need to be a fixed price. Anything Auction or Auction style is not allowed on MW, so just put a simple & fair fixed price and I'm sure you'll get these sold quickly, again nice selection! As I stated, even though I have not heard back from Graham and Shawn, I DID get an okay from the mods to make this post. I originally was going to make this post on Monday, but because I want to check with the admins and mods first, I waited until today after I got the okay from the mods. Very detailed figure. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN72869 Starting price $30 Bidding 35 dollars, please. Thanks ultimateone. Super Imaginative Chogokin (S.I.C.) is a Bandai toy line started I think in 2000. It first started wtih Kamen Rider characters then later with lots of other Tokusatsu such as Hakaider and Kikaider. The emphasis of this series is realism. I really like their design. The early figures are not really poseable. The later ones have better poseability. For me I only like the old Tokusatsu characters. Search hlj.com for "S.I.C." and select "All items" under AVAILABILITY and you will find a lot of other S.I.C. figures.
Minelayer
I got a couple of these already but what the heck. Let me get this one started @ $55. 3. MG Gundam. US version MG NT-1 and MG Char Zaku II ver 1.0. Starting price: $

94medition
Thanks Minelayer! ultimateone, you are welcome. Some of the S.I.C. figures are really cool. Hopefully this figure won't get you to a toy black hole.
Excillon
Bump! Come on people, 115 shipped for a Zaku II PG is a great deal, and it's for a good cause. I'd have been all over it if I hadn't quit PG kits. I will say it's a great kit and well worth it. Edited March 22, 2011 by Excillon

They are truly awesome feats of engineering and that price is akin to shoving a little Japanese kid down in the street and taking it from him while he wails.
