Thanks Everyone for kind comments

Taking picture is harder and more time consuming than I thought! Many details I added just disappear when it's out of focus.. but it brings out the parts I overlooked when i was working on it...:o

My friend told me to stop messing around with Photoshop and post raw pics..So here are some from last night

ARMD-1 with Valkyries and Launch signal

This is the next greatest thing I've ever seen on Macrossworld.

The first being your 1/2000 custom. B))

Thanks, but 1 correction.

The 1/2000 custom you are referring to, I believe, is done by Mr.'vf_1s' ^_^

I didn't have luxury to own 1/2000 version... - way over my hobby budget :o:(

Thanks everyone for following this thread and leaving kind comments. I really enjoyed the process of working on this one.

I started around early January and took me about 2 1/2 month to finish it up :wacko:

Lastly, I ordered a plexiglass display case for this one - cost me about $70!!

I'll conclude it with a bunch of 1920 X 1080 HD resolution wallpapers (some new, some cleaned up old ones, some raw images, some phtoshop-ed) ~~ Please enjoy~~

Nice custom job man! I can't wait to play with it! B)) LOL Are you going to add some more Photoshop love into those images? Also please post some shots in clean lighting with a white background so we can see it in all its true glory since I can't just bug you to bring it in to work these days.

Ha! Like I'll let you play with it!! :p I'll let you look at it when it's in the 'protective' plexiglass case!:ph34r:

Anyways, I took a day off and borrowed some lights and also figured out more settings of the camera. ISO setting/ multi-focus setting/ smooth filter/ high-contrast settings..etc it was basically all WRONG!!!:o No wonder it came out all grainy and mush..

Anyways, here are some new raw shots with white background as you requested. Your Photoshop skills are better than mine, so go ahead and have fun with these!

Also posting the image of city ceiling cover part I forgot to post.

Now that's awesome. Can I request that you take retake a shot of CruiserModeG but have the front prongs in sharp focus while the rest of the ship is blurry. It'll help with convey the illusion of depth. Like what you did with CruiserModeH.

Actually I already had the shot, but tried to avoid posting 2 similar shots. So here it is.

Yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about! Thanks! I might actually bust out the Photoshop again for some wallpaper goodness!

Haha I'm glad you like that shot! Have fun with Photoshop! B))

Calling it amazing would be an understatement.

Simply breathtaking work kyekye. How many hours have you put into this labor of love. B))

This one was surprisingly slow and long process (even for me). Started on Jan 10th and put in about average 4-5 hours (less on weekdays, more on weekends) - finished on March 13th. I would say,.. roughly about 200-250 hours of pure love and joy  (and some frustration!! :o )

Holy mother of... dare I ask how much it would cost to commission you to do the same to mine?

Doing this once was enough adventure for me :p

I was wondering about the other spacecraft sizes, so I did some searching and made a quick chart last night. I didn't show Star trek or Star Wars ships since some of them are ridiculously huge!

post-6978-0-41182600-1301077449_thumb.jpg

And apparently I had some of the ships in similar scale!!

post-6978-0-18460600-1301077462_thumb.jpg

I thought the Aliens Sulaco and spaceship Yamato was much bigger. and I didn't know how big the Enterprise was!!

Also, the display case came in yesterday. Here are quick test shots.

And this is how it's gonna be for a while

post-6978-0-96578000-1301077525_thumb.jpg

Lastly, here are the Background images I made for some of the photo-shoots and wallpapers earlier. (They are pretty big - 4560X3120, so re-size them for your print out if you want to use them)
