However, I think $180 is too much (Value of colletion depends on individuals opinion). It was very limited relese and it is rare to find one these days. However, if you stay around ebay, you can find one for around $120-140 without the added shipping charge from the HK seller. If you're short on the fund (As most Macross collectors are these days), I would say get the arii made Minmay (Although, it does not have Chinese dressed Minmay)..... Graham Posted November 24, 2003 Share Posted November 24, 2003 Heh, about a year or two ago Universal Model Ltd (a model and toy chain here in HK) had a whole bunch of those Yellow Submarine Minmays, which they had to sell off really cheap as nobody wanted them. I think they were going for less than HK$200 (about US$25) at the time. As a side note, Yellow Submarine had plans to produce a Misa in bridge uniform and a Minmay in FB2012 concert clothes, but they never made it into production. I still want to get the other one (DYRL Outfit) but it's kinda hard to find and it's about 150US on ebay when I see it. Nowadays for $150-180.00! But that ones a keeper. I like that minmay because it looks really well made and includes features and details other toys and models don't have. The braids, her dress and the way it's packaged. Really eye catching. Really expensive. I like that "minmay walking doll" model kit. Has anyone ever put one of these together? Another toy/model on my want list I'm curious about it's functionality as I noticed it includes a tiny motor of some sort. It only had a small number of parts but I'd like to get an opinion from somebody that actually built one? Maybe somebody's got one finished? I don't know about the custom Minmay being offerred on another site, but here is a custom 1/6 scale "Sailor Minmay" which I made for MW Con 4; along with some of her friends.
