mickyg
I'm in talks with a decal distributor and I need some scans of the sticker sheets for the 1/60 Yamato VE-1 and low vis VF-1S to see what sort of price we'd be looking to pay for a sheet. If you can PM me, I'll give you my email address so you can pop them through. I think scans are a bit big to put directly in the thread and there may be copyright issues otherwise. If this gets off the ground, we could possibly get 1/48 scale stuff happening and some destroid decals as well! Small res scans are OK too, just so I can get an idea of what's included in the default sticker sheet. So much stuff is tampo'd now, I don't know how much there'd be on the sticker sheet to copy to a decal.

If you still need the sheet scan by then, I'm in.
mickyg
I just figure with the unpainted kits out, we need some custom decals. I don't know how well the kits have sold but there's got to be some demand for decals instead of stickers. I thought at first that bundling the water slide decals with the kits was a great idea but then I realised you don't pay a whole lot more for the real thing in all the colours that are provided in the kit bundle. So why would you buy one of these and set it up as what you can buy off the shelf. For me at least, you wouldn't. And I've yet to see mention of anyone who's gotten one and done it up in any normal scheme. And that's just for the 1/60 VF-1 kit. I think there's plenty of demand for the 1/48s and other Yamato offerings. At least I hope there is.
