Pizza the Hutt Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Any SAW fans here? Well I was happy to hear that the creators plan to make atleast 8 SAW movies in all. I really enjoyed them all so far (I was kind of "iffy" on SAW1 and 5) and look foward to see what the plot will be on SAW 7. I don't know if the rumors are true but I heard alot of SAW fans and watchers say that the series out-used itself but I like how the stories keeps interlacing with the past SAW movies. Graham It was probably SAW 3 because SAW 2 was awesome for me,And I am sure you would have remembered the "Game" that was a big hole in the floor with all those needles and the funny game with the furnace "When you're in Hell only the devil can help you".,SAW 3 had some drowsy parts but if you slept thru the "pig Game" then you are blessed,that gagged me out! taksraven Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 The times that I have been howled down about being "rude", "dirty" or "pornographic", and now we are supposed to have a thread about this series of films that I consider to be "violence porn"? I can cope with a lot of horror films but this series and the bloody Hostel films which seem to be dedicated to torturing people so we can enjoy the results. (Yes, I know its not real and I don't have to watch, yadda yadda) My point is that if these forums are supposed to be relatively PG, then shouldn't there be an addition to Number 2. of the prohibited behaviour: No graphic or vulgar descriptions/depictions of sex or sexual content. to include stuff about graphic violence? I know that there are times when we might get fairly extreme discussing violence, but its always part of a passing conversation, not in a thread dedicated to it. I think the next one should be interesting, considering what happens with Hoffman lol. He's going to go free for all now. All i can say is, dumb stupid bastard detectives not thinking he would try to take them all out. I am slowly getting de-sensortized (however it's spelt). Ha,A person who hates "mutilation" movies contradicts himself by wishing gross mutilation death upon those who made the SAW movies.Maybe you should stick to Walt Disney and Care Bears I better not mention that I like The Grudge and The 4th Kind because someone might wish a horse death upon those movies too. Now the Ring movies were cool, The english version of Ring 1 was better than the original if i can remember, that tape was well done and freaky. The sequel, Spiral, was even better...WAY better than any of the movie sequels. The third book, though, was...weird. I understand what the author was trying to do, and it was an audacious and ambitious move, but I'm not sure it really worked, though. I liked the Juon movies, too. HappyPenguins Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 I was never really into the SAW films, though I did find the character of Jigsaw to be extremely creepy. I don't really care for overly violent horror flicks, but I did think the texas chainsaw massacre remake was pretty decent, minus the brutality. The prequel was pretty messed up too... I don't know when it comes to horror I prefer classics, such as the nightmare on elm street series, Hellraiser, Evil Dead, Halloween, and many others. I also love the final destination movies, even though the last one was kinda meh.. but if you want any good titles to check out, just ask. I know a crap load of good horror flicks. I'm not sure who sited you as offensive and a pervert... which I wouldn't argue but the reason that you probably get that treatment more than other members is because you probably post more inane things than anyone here...
