I ordered Hasegawa decal sheet and package was shipped in 12/17 and arrived yesterday. When I check the tracking number it says the item left Hong kong on the 19th. well it's the 27th (more than a week later) and I've heard no word about it, tracking info hasn't updated or anything. at what point should I start panicking? I love HLJ, but they weren't very fair with me especially after I've been a loyal customer for so long. I e-mailed them and said, "Hey, why aren't you giving me the sale price?" They replied with, "Sorry, but you placed your order before the sale started. If you want the lower price, cancel the discounted item(s) and then make a brand new order." I was on my way to leave town and my wife was fussing at me to turn off the computer, so I just let it slide. Too bad though, I could have saved some money for something else. Not sure if anyone else has the problem, but I like too many different things...Macross, Gundam, Transformers, Evangelion, Tamiya 1/16 R/C tanks, motorcycles, etc. Unless your really rich, you can't possibly get all of the different releases. I'm currently tracking the items and they just cleared customs, but have yet to have my credit card charged by HLJ. Is this normal? When should I expect to be charged? Thanks Just occurred to me to check the hlj FAQ. It appears it can take some time before the charge appears on a card, something about transmitting charges twice a month. Oh well, I was starting to get my hopes up, guess it's just a matter of time..... Unfortunately. Been 22 days and counting down, and yet to have arrive at my door step. It was my stupidity, and I hate to use this word...but I assumed HLJ would automatically give me the sale price. Once again I learned that assuming only makes an ass of yourself. Ha, ha Oh well, I'm now more wise and wasted some good money all at the same time. HLJ wanted to ship my packages via SAL, but I was like screw that. They're supposed to have a policy that high value orders can only be sent by EMS, but apparently that doesn't apply to large orders. So I reminded them that I requested EMS in the very beginning and paid the revised amount straight from my bank account. big F Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 My latest delivery was in A1 condition ( a Hasegawa VF1) it was vac sealed and shrinkwrapped to some card and then placed in the carton. I guess luck has struck for me again. I currently have another package comming from them some books and magazines. Never tried getting publications from them before so we'll see how it turns out. Oddly most of the damaged post I have had has actually happend in the U.K. One time a package from John Moscato was droped into a puddle outside my house, my neighbor saw it happen. Luckly John double boxes, the outer was totally soaked. They just dumped it in my porch and left. Another was crushed at the UK entry post office. Made it all the way from Australia and gets crushed 50 miles from my house. The Post office denied it. Shame that when you pulled the dents and crushed end out of the box the UK post mark was purfect. Now often I just dont get the packages delivered the postman just put a card through the letterbox saying I can collect it from them, they' ll do it even when I'm in.
