The guerrilla trailer thing did work out for the core design team of the fan made GITS intro, who ended up in the production of the 2017 movie. Agreed. This has been the case for quite sometime.. It’s difficult to get excited about this now, as Hollywood seems to be clueless when it comes to making really good movies from Anime or Manga..
