Ginrai
It's fan-made. And based on Robotech. Note the way it tries to include Macross geography.
Nidaram12
And based on Robotech. Note the way it tries to include Macross geography. I hate to whore myself and bring up a volatile subject like Robotech on a board like this but Palladium's Master's Saga sourcebook has a ton of updated art by me and fellow artist Mike Majestic. No, we aren't getting royalties from this I put up three here (I did around 12 or so pieces): http://nidaram.deviantart.com/gallery/#Pro...-Freelance-Work And Mike has a ton of stuff here, including two new full-color action scenes: http://vulnepro.deviantart.com/gallery/#Palladium-RPG-work We tried to make the designs as cool as possible while under the iron hand of HG Anyways I just thought I'd mention this since I kind of became a Southern Cross fan by way of working on it every day! Hey that's pretty cool stuff! Thanks for drawing something new and not inking over Japanese art! Haha. Looks nice. I especially like the Golem drawing. sidearmsalpha
Hey guys, off topic a bit, but is the Matchbox Robotech/Playmates Exo Squad Hover Tank capable of achieving the full tank mode or is that mode with the legs down the best it can do? It cannot do the full hover mode. You can apparently hack it to sort of do that though.
sidearmsalpha
It cannot do the full hover mode. You can apparently hack it to sort of do that though. I see. Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to pick one up as I did think it was a pretty cool mecha in the series. It still looks cool in "Battloid" mode, so even if it can't do the full hover tank configuration, you do see it on its two legs in the series. Still, it would be nice if some company made an updated version. We can only hope, I guess. So, does this hack you speak of require some serious modifying or do you mean that the legs just need to be turned a certain way to achieve the hover mode? Seto Kaiba
You two guys work for the Masters saga Sourcebook??? MY MY GOOOOOODD!!!! There's no reason to get excited over it... working for free on a Palladium product, particularly a Robotech one, is about as prestigious and rewarding a position as the guy who cleans up after the elephants at the circus. Seto: Are you busy yet with your macross 2 work???? Yeah, I'm still working on my backlog of Macross II publications... it's gonna be another few months before I get around to This is Animation #10: Southern Cross. It's next in the scan queue, but there's five or six titles ahead of it in the translation queue. Edited May 19, 2009 by Seto Kaiba

I was paid for it, sillypants. I said no royalties Regarding elephant poop, I'd rather redraw thirty year old robots and troll Macross fans for a living j/k

If you pay him for his time and effort, maybe he'll get to it faster. If he's doing it for free, you shouldn't pester him about timetables. Save
Are you looking for character line art or just mecha stuff?
Seto Kaiba
Are you busy yet ? when will i get those scans of the this is animation 10 southern cross ???? I guess the simplest answer would be "when I get around to making them". I'm working my way through the massive stack of Macross stuff squatting in my in-tray at a pretty good pace, but please remember that I'm doing this stuff in my free time as a hobby, and I've got precious little free time these days thanks to the economic recession. Save
This is what I got. 82 pages of test character animation cycles and douga scenes from the show. 62 pages of character settings. I picked these up at Mandarake a year or two ago. There is allot of non-main charcter art, but nothing like what Roger had. These are also not the original production copies just photo copies. If I let you have them what do you plan to do with them.
