94medition Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 I think the black "visor" on top is painted (standard color red, yellow and blue). I guess the stripe (arrow) that matches the top visor color is decal. I asked the seller about the color and received an email today with some new pictures of the top visor in red. It does look better than the initial pictures. I will post the pictures when I get home tonight. Hopefully they will make the stripe smaller. I'm still not sure whether I should get the color one or get the plain one. 505thAirborne, is the white color of the plain helmet painted? Do I need to prime it if I decide to paint it?
