The VF-25G and RVF-25 are both reminiscent of SDFM's VF-1J's that Max and Millia flew, with the white striped colored fuselages. I am expecting a generic color scheme like DYRL with the possibility of wing art like Ozma's. These are civilian's afterall. There would be no military restrictions (so to speak) on personalizing one's aircraft. The other extreme would be to go with the white stripes on a colored fuselage. It's all about the merchandizing, so anything to make the existing kits look differently to sell more is to be expected. Bandai is taking a page out of the Hasegawa play book. How many different variants of the VF-0, VF-1 & VF19's does Hasegawa have in the market right now? All these variants are based on the same model molds, the only differences are in the decals and color schemes. Pretty clever from a business point of view... Hmm thats true.. oh well. No worries in this area-- Bandai is no stranger to milking the moulds either Yep that upcoming av is done by some company that specialises in spoofs of anime series-- I heard that they have done a code geass av as well! But then again - I think it is a matter of poor cosplay. The girls cosplaying Sheryl and Ranka re cute in and of themselves BUT - here are the problems: 1. The girl cosplaying Ranka is TOO OLD. Or at least looks too aged. Her face does not have any of the aw-shucks innocence that characterized Ranka. 2. The clothes are BADLY TAILORED Actually - seriously - on this note - the real problem with cosplay is that often times it is ruined by badly tailored clothes. Like the lingerie/stockings on both of their legs are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to thick and also not structured properly (aka they seem to be "baggy" - stockings shouldn't make a girl's legs look BAGGY for goodness sake). But even abstracting from that - the dresses are also not well made. Couldn't they have gotten a decent fashion designer to make these? WHEN will we FINALLY get up-market porn movies which put CARE into the cosplay clothing? I mean - come on. If we have Yamato putting care into the design of 1/60 and 1/48 scaled transforming fighter plane replicas, if we have Bandai capable of all the amazing stuff they do with Gundam models, if we have companies that produce great anime girl sculpts... THEN HOW HARD COULD IT POSSIBLY BE FOR THE MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR PORNO INDUSTRY TO HIRE A DECENT TAILOR?? Seriously! And a stylist while you're at it! My friend is a hair stylist - he's by no means some kind of totally famous stylist, but he has a dedicated clientel and even I can see that he knows what he's doing and can really make girls look great. Get rid of the whigs - first step - because whigs - especially cheap whigs - look like the girl has been washing her hair in cold water for three weaks without shampoo and conditioner (or with that terrible Head & Shoulders combo crap). It looks all brittle and dead. Sheryl's hair has BODY! Can't they hire a decent hair stylist to do the porn cosplay star's hair? Can't they spend some money on better clothes. For all the complaining people do about Yamato, it's just distressing to see all this "wow she is so hot!" stuff over these two Ranka and Sheryl cosplayers - yeah - the girls are good looking - but they FAIL as Ranka and Sheryl for the above mentioned reasons. IMHO most cosplay costumes look bad because they use a lot of synthetic materials that are far too glossy and look cheap. Besides- I'm not saying the actress has to be 15 - but they could have found a girl that better fits the part. I mean, not that it's the same a porn movie, but Sam and Mikheala are in high school in the Transformers movie - yet clearly the actors aren't 16 or 17 or 15 or whatever age they're supposed to be in the movie. They just look younger... seriously, I don't think they'll be wearing the outfits long enough to bother spending lots of time on them... Well then what's the point of making it a Macross Frontier porn movie? If they're just going to get undressed and start having sex, it might as well be a run of the mill porn movie. Makes me hopeful for that dreadful hospital scene with Sheryl next episode. Also, at the end it seems much clearer that Ranka has had another attack of amnesia in regards to the song the Vajra queen showed her, so I guess she is excused now on that regard. And we got a last look at Lalamia Rerenia.... too bad that they never even let her speak, she was a hottie. But tons of other characters shots have been replaced with better animations. Alto screaming in anguish after Lalamia gets shot down now looks much less like him yawning, for example.
