seph_88 Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) I'd have to agree shin shouldn't even be in the top pilot rankings, but then again he was in a position just like roy, never even seen a VF before, so it's natural that even if he is a hot shot with jet fighters, piloting a valkyrie was way over his head, and he only just got to grips with it near the end. I guess i have to cut him some slack since roy help test pilot the 0 and ivanov and nora both tested the sv's, the only airtime that shin got with the 0 is the time we saw him fly. If he had gotten better during the short zero stint, he would have had a montage, because you know, even rocky had a montage....... (always fade out in montage.....) Alto is Better than Shin Easily one of my funniest videos Btw, the subs are there on purpose. As much as I hate subs in an AMV, they fit perfectly with what I was doing there. Shin can not be compared with the rest of the valk pilots, he is a total newbie to a VF unlike the rest of the main cast. Shin is a top ace using the conventional fighter (F-14) but he cannot adapt fast enough for high-speed mecha combat. Unlike certain pilots from Gundam, when using a new prototype unit and used it in combat for the first time, there's a chance of 99.99% it will get trashed.
