ruskiiVFaussie
Someone should put an LED behind the head. The dark red they used is too dark IMHO. Totally agree, it is rather too dark for my tastes as well. If it was too light maybe it would look cheaper or something.
Graham
"the visor's too red" I hope this is not going to become the new "the hands are too small". Graham

Same, but mostly for the Defender, and Spartan. We got to see the Tommo pilot with retracted canopy atleast. I think the only Destroids shown on the series details with pilots and inside the canopy are Mac II an Tomohawk. Can't remember the Spartan episode enough with Hikaru... jenius
These things definitely cost way too much to try to collect all of them (weathered, repaint). Oh well, I think it's cool we've got choices as the plain brown wasn't my favorite.
treatment
Fwiw, I can somehow justify the pricing on the Tomahawk, but just cannot on the Defender. I don't think I can justify the pricing on the Spartan, either, if that ever gets out. I really think Yamato-Toys should significantly lower the pricing on the Defender and other upcoming Destroids. Radd
Ouch, my order has already gone through on my regular Tomahawk, I'll be waiting on weathered versions for all the rest if we can expect that.
ruskiiVFaussie
That's not weathered, it's a kaki green low vis 2 scheme nah prefer the first version.

Have a little faith my friend, stranger things have happened with Yamato so far. A VF-0D could easily be in the works!!!!!! As you can see I want one too!! I love the new Defender (cough, cough Radar-X....cough) was always one of my favorites, 4 big cannons, simple, raw, love it!! Bring on the Spartan next!!!! EXO
if the destroids have all that tampo printing on it, I'd pay extra for that. Looks like decals though... I hate decals.

s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
WOW we can mix match all the modular schemes as well as franken-build our destroids. So I'm hoping that the Spartan would follow the same modular design cuz it'll get old fast with the same old bipedals. Since Kawamori likes passing the spliff around Yamato HQ, it would be nice, if Yamato can do a 1/60 version line of the Armored Core that would be epic! OmegaD3k
Gotta love the "construction vehicle" yellow/orange/black color scheme! Interesting concept, to allow other machines to be built using different modules. A mecha built of three differently colored modules will look freaky. Batou
I will. Hell, I will too. Tell me they're really doing that and it's not just a custom mockup for display. I'm kind of iffy on the weathering schemes they've used on the vf-1s they put out, but it looks perfect on that destroid. For once, my procrastination in not jumping right on the first one pays off. T0t0r0
Just a humorous observation on swapping the weapons modules between the Defender and the Tomahawk (assuming that will actually work)... you would end up with a Destroid with either two pilots or no pilot. On the Tomahawk the pilot is in the main torso section, on the Defender the pilot is in the weapons module.
