Ranka got placed in the Köenigmonster and sang during the battle, almost all the Vajra stopped fighting, but Ranka saw some Vajra blood fly by and got scared (jaming bird style) and they resumed their fight. Brera nearly shoots alto trying to protect Ranka and tells alto he'll protect Ranka. Sheryll sneaks out of hospital, and nearly faints when Alto finds her. he brings her onboard Quater. During the fight she enteres the bridge and request that she may follow the battle. Has great balance between character development, story progression, mecha porn, and even answers a few questions (though adding more.) The clips from "all that valkyrie" shown behind the sponsors and at the end of next week's preview also had me drooling. This episode definitely had a few new visuals that we've never seen before. I think I'll subtitle the episode "lasoing up them there Vajra" and "like shooting pigs in a barrel." It also looks like the conflict between Frontier and Galaxy... erm, Aruto and Brera is being set to boil over. There was even some more tossing around of Reaction Weapons like water balloons. Good clean fun. I think the train otaku of the owner of SMS was taken to a new level - there was some definite allusions to Galaxy Express 999 going on there! Next episode looks like fun, too. From the preview it looks like it'll focus on Ranka's origins, and her relationship with Ozuma. PS all this stuff about new openings has to stop. It's extremely doubtful that it'll change until the season ends. Personally, I'd rather the animators work on making more good Macross story anime, than an opening that will only recycle the elements that are already in the opening. Why are they reincarnating Macross 7 with singing on the battlefield, NOOOOOOOOOO. Ozma should have just kicked Leon arse, it's not like the NUNS is quick on the draw he would have probably gotten away with it anyway. Too bad we didn't see the other VF-27s in action. I know people were saying that episode 14 used alot of old footage, but this episode takes the cake. Next deculture looks like an action packed episode. Lion has been confirmed as the new opening for 6-8 weeks now, it's the first track on the new single with Northern Cross being the second and NC was used this episode.
