Kurt did not sand both sides to avoid damages on the paint... I am asking cause when I have done mine a lot sanding was required on the 19 to have a trouble free Y-19 and this was done on a lot of critical parts ... protostar8 Posted July 15, 2008 Share Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) To me, I'll always love the YF-19 though I don't own one (unless you count the 1/72 VF-X2 paint job one b/c I missed out on the original and can't afford the new ones). I also have one of those studio halfeye kits but I never built it for fear that I'd ruin a $200 item that's hard to find.
