I just had my grandfather taken away from me in an accident. He was hit by a car on Tuesday at 9:30am 8/12/08. He has been a part of my whole life since I was a child and took care of me like a real father. Today at 7:55 am he past away at the hospital with everyone who loved him. I will be taking sometime from MW to take care of his funeral arrangements and I will be gone for 2 weeks. As soon as I come back I will Pm the people about their orders and will provide tracking. I sent Silverdragon payment a month ago after getting a reply that he was taking orders again- upon receiving his invoice, I paid immediately and faithfully. I also emailed him over a week ago, respectfully, and just curiously inquiring about when I should be expecting the items, but no response. I haven't bothered him since. Am I sweating forty dollars for nothing? Is this the usual treatment from silverdragon? I would understand if it is, but can someone fill me in? ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 Most likely he is trying to punch orders out that were made before yours (like mine about now), he had a passing in the family only like a couple of months ago and has taken a rest, plus he has issues with the materials giving him bad rashes, and it knocks him around a fair bit. I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and hope to be back in full force on taking new orders for the 1/48 part depot. I have been busy with the last order and haven't taken anything new since i been sick. I have taken a rest from recasting for 2 weeks and will be starting up again in the middle of January. It's been hard for me and my family since i no longer have my grandfather and grandmother with me plus i get sick dealing with resin. I'm getting better and i hope to keep providing great service. I hope to have this kit out soon in the Middle of January since the TV max will be released in February 09. I have been working on it since early December and will only be offering 10 kits. I will let members know when the 10 kits are ready for shipping, before i open a thread up for it. I'm out of town and will be returning around 1/9/09 to start up work. I will Pm the members whom i have pending stuff with to let them know what the status is. I will have to make new molds for all the 1/48 parts since the molds that i have no longer work. For what its worth - a friend of mine in the professional props and FX industry developed the same issues after years of working with the stuff, and had to move out of the actual hand-on casting fabricating work! Seems like when it rains it pours, and it has certainly rained on you this past year, and unfortunately, into this new year. Knowing how close your grandmother and grandfather were, I can only imagine the level of grief that she must have been experiencing due to his untimely absence. God knows best, and only the Creator knows how much we can bear. So I hope & pray (and truly believe) that your grandmother has rejoined her beloved in a much better & tranquil place. Take comfort in that bro., and know that she is no longer here suffering and is at peace. Don't let anything keep you from clinging even closer to your faith in this trying time. Take all the time you need to heal spiritually, emotionally, and physically. And as I've told you many a time before, this hobby takes a backseat to real life, so don't feel pressured into any hasty MACROSS related projects. We'll be here; and we'll be respectful and patient while you work things out. We would want the same courtesy if we were in your shoes. Love you much & take care bro. buddhafabio Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 (edited) i need a cannon fodder 1/48 bp10 attenna i also need three missle packs for a 1/60 roy focker vf-0s today wifey left door unlocked and a druggie neighbors kid was not being watched and he attacked my diecast cars destroyed my 1/ 64 general lee. opened a bunch of diecast cars new in box. destroyed a 1/35 p-51 mustang. and played with my vf-0s i have waited for the bp 10 for a long time and the missles happened today. if any one can help with these i would appreciate it so much. i didnt lay in to my wife. i am just letting her feel guilty that i was the only one affected all on her own.
