It's the only way I can make my direct deposits look the same on pay day for the misses my man! I temporarily cut off the 8% of my salary that goes into retirement and directed those funds into a savings account. That way my wife can't say I'm spending "our" money on toys. THANKS...you just got me in big trouble. It's really not a bad set up, especially when you're married and sharing financial responsibility. I do not impact our monthly budget in any way. It's almost like "the taxes" that were being taken out of my salary are paying for the fighters for the time being so I do not miss the funds. Once I am sufficiently caught up, I can purchase at leisure from my personal spending and re-direct that 8% back into retirement.
