Hey all. I am looking to turn my Reissue Bandai 1/55 VF-1A H. Ichigo into a Strike Valk. but I am in need of a VF-1S head. I will need one that is bright white so the normal VF-1S Roy head will not do. If there is someone out there that can help me out with this in a jiffy that would be GREAT!! Please let me know so I can do this ASAP. THANKS ALOT.

This isn't going to work because the Bandai reissue VF-1A is absurdly white and the reissue Bandai Super VF-1S is off-white. A minty white Jetfire G1 VF-1S head is as white as you'll get but even then, it's noticeably yellow when compared to the Cocaine white VF-1A reissue. Honestly, you'd do better by saving yourself some money and repainting a yellowed Jetfire head. I think racing white is obnoxious enough to get close the the white you'll need. Good luck!

Thanks for the info mate....tis strange that you say that the reissue super is off-white for mine is SUPER white. The only ones that I have that are off white and even a bit grey are the Roy VF-1S and my VF-1J Hikaru. I will side by side them this evening and see what I see. THANKS.

The Super VF-1S (2001) is defenitely a bit yellow, but not due to age. It was made this way by Bandai. I have 14 of these and the color is consistent through out. The 1990 version is brighter, just slightly, but the head sculpt is horrible.

The VF-1A Hikaru is bright white. All 9 that I own are the same color.

If the want to switch the heads to make a Strike VF-1S it look fine.

Not forgotten. Just sucks working a job with no set schedule. You may be off for 13 days in a row but you never know when those days are...and that probably means you worked your butt off before those off days. :)

Well, truth be told, in our profession we prefer to avoid excitement--except on overnights with hot ladies in the hotel. *WOOT*!!!!!!!
