don't completely agree with that comment. the problem seems to lie with the fit of the legs alongside the the shoulder cowls. the legs won't be fully straightened once you have properly fitted them back in. so far, i've only managed to push the hip connectors all the way up, albeit a lil forcefully. even then, it's not a perfect fit for the fuselage covers.

some minor issues on mine (could be attributed to my inadequate transforming capabilities):

1. wing joints not as stiff as expected, certainly not squeaky tight but as long as it's not accidentally nudged, oughta be fine.

2. tolerances for the hand pegs to gunpod handles is a lil low as mine slips off at the slightest bumps on both hands

3. as above, the leg fitting issue alongside the shoulder cowls in fighter mode prove to be a major headache. will be anxiously awaiting Graham's TF'ing video

4. lastly, fast pack for the fuselage is un-attachable on one side. may need to file down the clip at the top of the FP in order to make it fit.

all in all, some minor issues that prevent it from being a totally QC-free valk but i chalk these up to possible manufacturing QC issues, excluding the leg fit issue. despite all those, this is definitely my favorite valk from Yamato so far. they've definitely done a great deal of justice to this product. i'm already contemplating getting a second once i have spare cash.

PS. attached a couple of shots, including the parts-blown-off delimiter mode. pardon my lousy photography.

Woo hoo! Finally! :D

I gotta say, I'm not the biggest fan of the M+ OVA or valk designs, but this one looks very good.

Also, our MW members really know how to take a good photos. The battroid mode photos look way better that the Yamato promo shots.

Yamato likes to mess with us showing crappy battroid poses that shows totally bad angles and causes us to fight among ourselves.

i don't recommend using the detach-o feature too often, the paint on the connectors are prone to chipping.

i have paint chipping on the hip connectors from 2 attempts already.

other than that... pure awesome !

Beautiful! Thanks for the effort ripping her parts off. Can't wait to do mine. :(

Just pass it off on E-Bay as the Limited "Delimiter" Edition.

People would drop good money on that. And then you can sell the legs and arms as limited edition parts to make your 21 complete.

Fastpack = gray gunpod

Not Fastpack = not gray gunpod

Revoltech I believe comes with fastpacks but they probably felt the blue went better since the YF-21 is primarily shown without the fastpacks in the show.

So would it be non-canon to have my 1/60 21 with no FAST packs to carry gray gunpods?

I wonder what BoB is doing now.

Jacking off at the pictures. Of course it would be more pleasurable with the real thing in front of me... alas. It's kinda like wanting to bang that beautiful chick in the porn magazine for real... but ya settle with jacking off at the pics for fear of catching disease.

Staying on target, I cannot wait to get my hands on this baby. Wonder when the FPs are coming.

Ok, this is mostly for everyone, but especially for BOB. "For BOB's Sake!"

Be careful of the fins on the arms. There is a small plastic part that holds these on. If you put too much pressure on the fins the fins will pop off (seems to be designed that way). HOWEVER, the small piece that anchors them there will fly off and i'm talking SEVERAL FEET.

It's not a QC issue, just a slightly annoying design. be careful with this. I just glued mine in there.

So... does the plastic anchor parts that pop off show any stressmarks? Why not remove them during transformation and put them back once you're done?

You can't take off the pieces unless you put pressure on that part. If it is stressing the part then taking it off to avoid stressing would cause stre............woah.....circular, dude

Anyway....it's obviously an intentional design point. not anything to worry about. Just to be careful with.

Probably, I'm thinking we see some gray gunpods when Isamu's is getting loaded in the movie edition and I don't recall Fast Packs until they leave for Earth...

I'm kinda hopin we'll get an accessory pack with foldildo, blue hunpods, Ghost X9, and maybe a VF-22S canopy and face (though really doubting that last part since a resculpt / variant is the more likely path).

Well, Yamato has the 1/200 gashapons which includes a lot of the VF-X variants so hopefully they will be smart and milk the molds with VF-22S variants! And I hope that translates to VF-19A Excalibur, Super Novas and etc..!

Well, a big box was waiting for me yesterday, but I didn't had the time for it... I now have the Yamato Air Box out of the HLJ box, cracked the cover to take a look at Fighter mode (Gorgeous, of course), and got the instruction manual out. Quite thick too...

(Pause for a moment. Instruction manual. For a toy. WTF?)

Anything that I should watch out for before taking it out and transforming it? Looks gorgeous, but with so many pictures in the manual showing tabs and slots, it's mighty confusing mighty fast.

I know, but you obviously have the option to remove them. I was asking if that point the gray pods were inappropriate.

I'm sorry, I was letting Godzilla know the FPs were included since he seemed to be asking when they'd be coming out.

Oh, ok. Sorry.

Anyone have the backpack assembly come off? Mine seems to have a little too much looseness and has popped off a couple times. I'm sure it won't be too much of an issue as I get better at transforming it, and its better to pop off then to break.
