Mospeada Line Art Thread

I think that gives us a pretty clear pic as to why Toynami is having such a hard time with the cockpit. The drawing shows the cockpit just folds downward... but that's pretty much impossible if you want it to look good in soldier mode.

Thank you guys. I would have never find out there were more than meet the eyes regarding the line art. Is good to know there's more to Mospeada that the sometimes "corny" show we knew of.

My question is; which new Beta/Tread toy available now would be the best match for the 1/48 imai model from the 80's?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing. I love SD's.....they're hella cute!

If you like SD here is an image I saved off Yahoo Japan years ago...

I don't know what book this is out of but its one of my favorite Maspeada SD images.

Where did you find these pictures from and is there anymore?

They are screen grabs from the line art gallery on the Japanese Mospeada DVD release.

Unfortunately, the resolution is pretty low on these. There's some really nice unique stuff on there.

This is my theory:

i thought first of three pics would mean is approved by studio,

the second could be preproduction design,

but the third...??

What do you think??

Carl, Roger, Jenius, Totoro242, specialists?....anyone....? please...

Prepare (Since the Invid was stamped with this kanji I would guess "industry terminology" in the US would be concept.

Many many thanks Save!!

Thank you very much!

It really helps me.

The first stamp means finalized so i could understand "definitive version" no?

The second stamp reference...

The red stamp for invid means concept!

Great!

Well, i'm not able to do that but this is for us:

Never seen ( from my part) before unless Roger (and some others) has it in his documents found in Japan...

Wow, I really like that one! Now that's the type of artwork I find anime/manga artists to be incapable of these days: detailed, dynamically perspective mechanical art.

 Yes, i love too this kind of artwork!!

I don't remember found it in a book, mag, setting or other...

I insist but:

It's sad we can't see /appreciate others beautiful artworks like this!

Anyone think with the up-n-coming line-art Mospy book and the possibility of an non-official Mospeada art book after we might get to see some toy/model releases like the condor and especially enemy mecha (already interest taken by an unknown company to develop the commander Inbit mecha).

That is really interesting how the pilot can raise through the centre and up into the head. COOL.

I'm not sure how a single art book release translates into a toy or model release of a very obscure mecha seen for all of 5 seconds throughout the series.

Regarding the "New Mospeada Complete Art Works Book 2009" item coming up, the publisher has said that if sales of the first one are good, they would consider doing a second volume.

No listing on Amazon JP for it yet. Keep looking for that ISBN...
