Buying in Montreal

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a good location for macross purchases in Montreal?

Will be there for the holidays and hoping to find at least one good shop.

Cheers

G.

Are you from Toronto or Montreal? Your Avatar says Toronto, where I am... anyways, do you know of where I can buy Macross kits, especially the older Hasegawa VF-1 (s) Battroid or fighters? Kurame at PMall only has a few Macross Zero kits...

Thanks

There are some shops in the China Town downtown Toronto, with macross toys, even yamato, however, they will be about double the price you can get online.

True...true......Pacific Mall has a few kits and it's a much better bet than anime extreme or Kikiwai downtown. Kikiwai still carries a few 1/60 yamatos though. Kurame at PM is really the only other place.........

Dragon hobby is by no means the cat's meow...but it might be worth a call - he is close to me at Gerrard and Broadview - I know he has 2 or 3 southern cross armor kits ( the body suits) but he may know where some old stock is.

Gerrard and Broadview is way out of my reach unfortunately.... I live 20 mins north and east of PMall... Chinatown btw had nothing much and the prices at Animextreme are not good at all, place is small and jammed with stuff but some prices are even higher than PMall! I checked its Revoltech 1J and 1S, they are selling for $38 there, I can't remember the exact price at Kurame but it was a few bucks less and lot closer. Kikiwai store is practically empty, not that things are cheap, far from it, the 1/60 VF-1A I think (that's what it was) was selling for $130-140. Well at least I didn't go down there specifially that time....
