It was cool to see it in person. If you HAVE to have the SV-51 NOW and you live near Los Angeles. It was just a heads up to those impatient members willing to spend a lot extra to not have to deal with the hassle of getting stuff shipped to them. Willingness to pay is exceedingly bizzare due to the obsessive nature of (us) fans. I do not think I will make it through 2008 with anything but one pair of clothes and a yamato collection and a cardborad box to live in. We always see a re-issue. BTW - Concrete Jungle has some really nice guys working behind the counter, pretty knowledgeable on most items they sell. Price-wise, that's a whole different story. Also probably because they opened up a second shop in the area to take care of their DVD, CDs, plushie, and etc. sales. I noticed a jump in pricing for some of the trading figures from $6-8 to $13-15. A number of the larger figures that they used to sell for less has jumped in price. Yeah, that was more or less what I said too when I saw it "yeesh, screw that!" In fact that's what another guy said when he saw it and checked out the price. vermillion01 Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 When i see something as ridiculously overpriced as that, i make a point of asking the staff how they justify their prices when i can just go get one waaaay cheaper from a reputable vendor online. even without wholesale discount. Please someone go in and ask them why it cost another $150 for their one. Does it come with a free moon or something? they cant be serious with a $150 mark up!!!
