ben2099
My list is this (in order of importance) 1) Takatoku GBP-1S Armor Set 2) Takatoku VF-1J Max Valk 3) Takatoku VF-1J Hikaru Valk or VF-1A Ben Valk 4) Bandai VF-1A Bandai Valk 5) VF 1/100 Takatoku Valks (Max or Millia Preferred) 6) Bandai VT-1 Super Ostrich (is the most important, but holding out if family wants to get me something great for christmas or Bday) Anyone willing to send me a price or stuff they would like to trade for one of these, I am all ears. Also, please explain conditions and defects, if any, and what rank you would give the Toy and box. Thanks Ben P.S. I know I can get this stuff on ebay, but I don't want to have to ship from malaysia to get it Edited May 13, 2007 by ben2099
jenius
Just FYI, there is no Milia 1/100 Takatoku valk. I got educated on that one not too long ago.
ben2099
Oh, found something else I would like to have as well if there are any sellers - Matsushiro 1/55 scale VF-1J I didn't even knew it existed until I saw this and learned the history that Matsushiro made a VF-1J before they made the jetfire. If anyone has one that is in nice shape, I will pay nicely for it
Valk009
Here, as promised, finally got around in taking pics of my lovely 1/100 Taka VF-1J Max! The toy is in excellent almost like new condition, all complete with instructions, leaflet and unapplied stickers. The box is in great condition with some shelf wear. Valk009
Got a couple of PM's in regards whether the VF-1J came with a gundpod. Mine does not and from I know, the only 1/100 Taka VF-1 with gunpods were the VF-1S and VF-1A Cannon Fodder, please correct me if I am wrong. Totoro242
I always thought there was some strange conspiracy regarding some sort of shortage of 1/100 gunpods to. I even posted a poll in the Toys section earlier this year. It turns out though, all the 1/100's came with gunpods. Noel offered up the best reason for the shortage; the 1/100 does not come with a place holder in the styrofoam, nor does it attach to the arm of the Valk. This lead to thousands of kids loosing or seperating the gun from the toy. Got a couple of PM's in regards whether the VF-1J came with a gundpod. I believe you were mislead, I was told specifically by a vintage toy seller that only the 1/100 VF-1S and VF-1A Cannon Fodder came with gunpods. No reason were given why others did not come. The way to spot which valk comes with a gunpod is supposedly by looking at the back of the box. There is a blueprint of the valk and if there is a gunpod printed then...voila, the toy should be equipped with a gunpod!
BoBe-Patt
but this auction says otherwise.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=
Valk009
Well the auction also includes two gunpods of different sizes
Totoro242
Well the auction also includes two gunpods of different sizes Not sure what that proves. The guy apparently had a loose ARII gun pod and threw it in. Here is the thread from a few months ago: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...049&hl=1100 Noel has been a dealer/collector for longer than Macrossworld has been around, so I would consider him an expert. There's also the fact that a seller on ebay sold all 4 1/100 valks on ebay recently (newtererubi) and all had gunpods. A fellow collector from ToyboxDX acquired a VF1J Hikaru recently with a gunpod. Neither box had a gunpod pictured on the back. My VF1S and VF1A have gunpods pictured, but neither came with one so I dont think that proves anything. I'm gonna stick with these facts and say that yours is missing the gunpod.
Robert D
I own all 4 TT 1/100s and the Bandai one, and some came with gunpods, some did not. I just think the ones that don't have them are just missing the gunpods - - not that they weren't sold with them. I also believe that I've seen all 4 TT 1/100s for sale with gunpods. Unfortunately, unlike the 1/55s we've not seen enough of these toys around to make a really educated assessment. Also, we'd have to find a "NRFB" toy to have proof that it didn't come with a gunpod as it's of course always possible for someone to have added one to a toy they sold later. Annnnnyway, regardless, I love me some 1/100 Valks!
