YIKES!!!

I just got this kit from Blackaces for less than 1/5 that price!

Noel is either the MOST generous person on this planet or that guy is nuts!

...or it could be both. :p:lol:;)

VA-3 for 19,800 Yen

For anyone who wants this, Blackaces still has one on ebay. ;)

that is even way over budget for Black Aces to handle............

im scared... ... ... ... ...

Sorry... I was afraid I was stepping on someone's toes. I'm glad you got the VR-041 as I completely missed it. Did you save the picture from the auction? Was it the same seller? I'd love to see.

I see mine is the VR-052.

By the way, for someone that always calls these things ride armor. I take it the blue one is the VR-041 and the gray one is the VR-052. Am I correct?

Ok I just found this:

http://members.optusnet.com.au/~cyc01/mecha.htm

Does anyone know if this group has also made an VR-38? Or better yet know the name of the group that is making them?

Thanks,

Carl

Im not sure of the scale either...I think I have the picture at home...its honestly not a good picture at all...which is probably why I got it cheap...the 052 showed the kit...the 041 was blurry and didn't show the kit...Ill look for the picture and post some pictures of it when it comes.

Oh well...so you got the 52? Nice get!

Thanks. I'd still like to see it. I think that explains why I over looked it. Do you know if it was the same seller?

Yes, I won the 052. Kicking myself for not even noticing the 041 but I'm glad its going to good hands.

Well...honestly I'm glad you didn't notice it...if you had one or the other of us would have paid twice as much as I did! ;) Figures...I normally check MW in the mornings...but this day in particular I was in an offsite meeting with no Internet access, and then I had to go to the hospital all week to see my Grandpa.

As for the kit...it was the same seller...I wouldn't have found it otherwise. The seller didn't list it in the normal MW, Mospeada, or SciFi sections of Yahoo I look at...it was in a section with some toys. (he she listed it in a different section from the 052 as well! )They didn't use VR-041, Mospeada, or The equivilent Japanese symbols anyhwere in the auction. I translated the auction text and it was short and non-descript (something like plastic model kit) I tend to think the seller got a lot of stuff and sold it off...not knowing what it all was...but I cannot be sure. I missed it first time through his/her stuff (bad picture...and the box itself is simple without a picture of the ride armor. The auction picture only showed the box...with the English text VR-041 and a light grey triangle (Sperrior blade tip I am guessing) on a dark grey field. The picture didn't include any pictures of the kit, instructions, or anything else. If I didn't see he had the 52 I probably would not have known what it was. Once I saw the 52 box I was able to figure it out...but it was confusing.

I was tempted to post here that I was going after them...but I am also always a bit nervous about doing that..it brings a lot of attention from outside the trusted MW familiy....so I kept quiet....anyways...sorry Carl, wish I had seen your post.

I'm hoping that the 38 shows up this year at WF. The 52 showed up 2 years ago (I think) and the 41 this year..with some luck they did well and will do the 38 this year...(which is the most underdone of the 3)
