Sephiroth
I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I'm lin the market to purchase a 1984 Bandai 1/55 VT-1 SuperOstrich. I prefer it to be complete and in pretty much unused or as close to factory mint condition as possible. I know this is pretty rare, but I want it to be completely free from yellowing. I'm looking to pay around $800 for one in this condition, but we can negotiate depending on what you have to offer. PM me if you have an offer to make or if you can help me get this elusive toy in my collection. Thanks in advance.
jenius
I think AgentGHQ had one but I think he was asking $1000... my memory is a bit foggy.
BoBe-Patt
yup, he's asking about that much, but he also has the original factory box that it was shipped in. It's a really nice piece.
Fortress_Maximus
I'd wait and keep on looking that's just too damn much.
BoBe-Patt
I'd wait and keep on looking that's just too damn much. honestly though, I saw it in person and it was like it was just shipped from the factory. Everything was mint, even the outter box was mint! Both the elintseeker and super o were the most prestine vintage valks I've ever seen. Maybe if you contact him and see if you can cut a deal with him. Just maybe...
Fortress_Maximus
I'd pass after the recent noise, maybe you can BBP.
BoBe-Patt
well I would if I was filthy rich. But I would only pay 1000 for the elint and the super O each. But since I'm not, I'm not going to go for it. Sephiroth can probably afford it.

I alsohave the original Factory Shipping box for it. Plus, it came with some kind of purchase certificate too. Too bad I can't read Japanese. jenius
LOL, seeing that post again, I guess Sephiroth was already well aware of Agent GHQs SuperOs and was looking for someone else to deal with. My memory sucks... apparently so does my spelling by the looks of those posts! PS - My exgirlfriend gave me my LV1 back and I haven't seen her since... no more greater L.A. loving for me

All in the name of healing, you know. Edited February 2, 2007 by hutch

All in the name of healing, you know. A sterling effort Sir... but alas, no. Only good memories attached with that particular toy... and even if they were all horrid I would still look at that toy as the one good thing I took away from that relationship! In fairness to the ex, she was a major trooper. Any girl who looks at toy collecting as an absolute endearing hobby is awesome in my book. It's just too bad she couldn't make the move from LA to SF with me.
hutch
It was totally worth a try.

jenius
so is this girl still single and she lives in LA you say? Indeed. Single, blonde, about 5'6" with hazel eyes, athletic (soccer), and a chemical engineer. I never asked her to watch Macross or even DYRL with me so I can't say if she'd actually be into any of that. If you can find her, good luck... but don't expect any help here! I'd sooner sell Hutch my LV1. None of this is helping Sephiroth find his SuperO though... but maybe we helped by giving the thread some bumps.
