They have a toy clearance aisle and they had about 5 of the Joe packs and 10+ of the Cobra Legion as of 1pm today. The one off Alicia Pkwy only has single carded Wave 4. Why the price difference??? I passed on picking it up. And still no sign of the single-carded Wave 4 in my area .... I also got zartan, beachhead and cobra trooper also. I also saw a Transformers Movie Bumblebee '08 camero there which i have never seen before ever, and also got that cuz well... i like transformers too. (but i only really collect the Classics line, waiting for Classics 2.0 to come out... ) since i couldnt find the good guys set, i went to the one on alicia by 5 freeway. i got lucky and found a good guy set, and it was marked 17 but it scanned 12.48 which was good. i also found shipwreak, which i rarely see so i got him too... good day for me... now hope to someday find a Transformers MP Starscream (Walmart edition)... =[ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The hip joints on my Lady Jaye were pretty loose when I first bought her (that just sounds so wrong! ). I found that a drop or two of superglue in the gaps where the plastic hip meets the metal T-bar makes the joint a little tighter. Just put the drops in the spot, wait literally a few seconds, and then start moving the legs around a bit. (Don't let the glue dry without moving the leg around a lot!!) The SS-FF pack must be Devilsdue from the look of it, I see no reason why the two of them would be at odds in the original marvel run while SS was in his Cobra duds. The SW-CH pack again has to be devilsdue run since CH never appeared in the original marvel run since Hama already had and killed a named cobra called Copperhead prior the creation of the figure. The Duke Col Brekhov, well this has to be marvel run, but when, Duke never met Brekhov in the Marvel run IMRC, the closest he came was yearbook number 2. Early devils due, judging by Storm Shadow's costume, which was designed by Mike Zeck. Still wondering why he is shirtless. Plus I really don't like seeing Duke in the traditional original 13 outfit, it does not fit his character. Me neither, he was never as cool as the original 13 in my eyes. The red insignia trooper might make it, I forgot if hasbro mentioned it or not at their recent q/a's. Its highly possible someone will ask them this at toyfair next month, so we should have an answer soon. It is a troop builder that most fans want, and I think its inevitable that it arrives in single pack form. Think of the clone troopers in Star Wars, to me its the same premise. As far as Baroness, she is said to not be on single cards yet because they could not give her a fixed crotch to enable her to sit. If anything I think a new mold or heavily retooled one will make it to shelves in single card format, rather than the battle pack one with a fix. Shin do you know the quantities breakdown on the 2 packs? The ones I've seen the most in the stores are Scarlett/hawk and CC/Duke. Maybe they are the most numerous because they are the least desired. I finally saw 2 of the dreadnok packs at walmart but I picked destro up instead. My biggest grip with the 2 packs is the plastic tray that the figs are suspended in. It can actually lead to breakage too, since parts can be warped, and weapons are held in the hands for display but can also make the hands warped in transit. Not to mention some pieces are made from softer plastic, and the tray can make cuts into those pieces easily. I'm all for neutral posing, no trays with limbs secured in them, and no weapons held in hands in package. Also remember when everyone complained about figures not being able to hold their weapons? I want to see other characters like Sgt Slaughter, Slaughter's Renegades, Dr. Mindbender, Cover Girl, Eels, Deep-Six (Sharc driver) Vipers, AVACS, Falcon, Wet suit, Alpine, Grunt (v1), Steeler, Cutter (Whale driver), Blowtorch, Mutt & Junkyard, Thunder (slugger driver)Lift-Ticket (tomahawk pilot), Lifeline, etc. One thing I hated the comic was it was mostly centered on SE and SS. Stalker and Scarlett were in on it. One thing I liked about the cartoon was that they went to different stories like Dusty was a triple agent, weather dominator, earthquakes in Japan, etc. Now from the comic it would be great to see Scarface, Qwinn and Dr. Venom. Believe me, everyone feels that way, whenever a new assortment is on hisstank most fans complain about it. To me it is too much right now, because look at the comic packs. They are in damn near every wave. The only redeeming factor, is that the wave 3 versions have new parts, and the wave 4 Storm Shadow is an entirely different design based on the Mike Zeck design. I'm glad that wave 7 SE is going to be v4, which is good since its a different version rather than just a repaint. Should be, even though it is the least liked costume amongst the fandom, it was one of my favorites. It didn't look boring like his Ninja Force costume(the one where he just had eye holes, and a scimitar). V4 Snake Eyes arguably had the best weaponry. As important as SE and SS are, I'd rather have a nice mix of the obscure and other popular Joes released rather than have endless repaints.
