As much as I'd like Hasbro to lay off the Cobra Commander figures for a bit (we practically have more commanders than Cobra personnel at this point), it would be fun to see a figure where you pull the helmet/mask off and it's the aging hippie C.C. from the issues where he was running around unmasked and in semi-disguise. Heck, for fun, they could re-release the Wave 6 battle armor C.C. with both the evil-hippie head and the Crimson Guardsman Fred series imposter.... waitaminute, didn't I just say I wanted LESS C.C.'s for a while? Torpedo looks great. R&R I'm going to have to get just for the love of the first set of guys, but the figure is just a little lackluster... perhaps too much the original figure. I'd love to see Airborne. He was an early favorite of mine. Was cool and detailed, but still realistic looking and not outlandish. Plus, in my opinion, he was the superior Native American Joe compared to Charlie 'Spirit' Iron-knife, code name: INJUN STEREOTYPE. Seriously... Charlie really could've left one or two things back in his locker... he was the equivalent of Scarlett, Blowtorch, or Barbecue showing up in full Leprechaun gear with pints of Guinness instead of firearms. They're virtually nowhere to be found around here, and there are TONS of Targets and WalMarts. I sure like looking at the photos of these alleged figures though. On the other hand, I do remember a time not too long ago when a pristine Snake Eyes figure was a prime and expensive find. I was looking at Frank & Sons yesterday at Beachhead, the Red Ninja, and Firefly... fixed version has a crotch that looks a lot more like the RAH Joe's, the non fixed looks like the crotch they used on wave 1. DESTRO, hisstank.com's admin is a huge fan of BATS. I like the 2nd version. There is the DTC 6 pack of BATS that you might still be able to track down for a good price. I never bought it but it did look very nice. The bad thing about waves 7 and 8 is that there is yet another Snake Eyes. I can only hope it is at least a different version, such as v3, v4, or Ninja Force(bad group, nice costume), instead of a carryover from past waves. For the later waves, I'm hoping the Crimson Guard twins make an appearance, and one of my faves as a kid, Sci Fi - the only Joe ballsy enough to wear neon green on the battlefield. I wish I had room and would have bought those Elite Forces vehicles to go with these Joes since they also look good and the Blackhawks and Humvees go for about $20.00. He's listed as a sergeant but is ranked E-4? :confused: Iron Grenadier Destro will be mine, though. Hopefully we get some IG troops, most definitely, as well as the Sergeant Major character. Nice to get a new outfits (especially for CC), but this would have been best as a troop builder pack. Put these variant costume figs in variants of the original Cobra 5-pack... (Subject to change.) Comic packs wave 3. Surely Ace and Wild Weasel can't be complete without a Skystriker and Rattler right? Surely I'm not alone in wanting to see those again. Odd that they're releasing the two pilots without their respective rides. Please tell me Hasbro knows our wishes about getting a non-astronaut Ace.
