First Macross-related product as an adult: the Bandai Reissue VF-1S from a vendor at Frank & Sons (not sure which vendor though). Went through a slight detour with the MPC's. Not only because I like the anime but also facinated about the whole marketing around it... the consistancy of the storylineand complexity in the toylines... the technical dificulties putted in a toy that eventually get bashed by wild kids. but the jetfire and gakken are rock solid. baronv Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 Well in college I was picking up Marvel figures here and there, these were the mid- to late 90's Toy Biz figures before the nice Legends lines came along. But I had maybe a couple shelves full. The toy craze didn't hit until actually I bought the MPC VF-1S then Macross, Robotech, Transformers and Gundam came forth within the last 3-4 years.
