Hi, I'm looking at getting the 1/6 Batman Begins Takara CG figure. It's pretty hard to get these in the US for a decent price. Just wondering if anyone here on the forums that lives in Japan is able/willing to sell me one? Don't know if they're common in Japan or not, thought I'd ask. Any help would be appreciatted, thx.

I saw a bunch of these at AX. Not sure if they were Medicom's or CG. I don't even know if medicom even made any batman figures.

I would appreciate that.

I'm a big fan of Batman Begins, and this is the only bit of merch I have seen that impressed me.

I was on the fence, but after seeing it comes with a wayne head, and the proper accessories to turn it into the prebat suit version I was sold. It gives you so much more than what hot toys or medicom are offering.

Thx for the idea but BBTS along with every other US seller is sold out on their preorders. That's why I was hoping someone on this forum who lives in Japan could get one. I'd pay all the costs of course plus a finder's fee to that person.

Alright. My Takara Batman arrived, sorry not selling it at this time. But I am going to give a very fast review. The likeness to Christian Bale is a pretty good one and the paint job on the head doesn't suffer from a pasty conplection like many 1/6th headsculpt figures do. (well the head really isn't painted, it's molded in color, while the skin tone is good, because it's not painted it does look a little plasticky. The costume is made compleatly of rubber. It does not appear removable. Those who live in dry environments are going to want to be careful about the rubber drying and cracking. I don't sit around and study batman suits and have every detail memorized but as far as I can see the detail on the suit is pretty good. Sadly the articulation is effected because the suit is molded in one piece and the joints are not very strong on the body so the rubber material restricts it and often pulls the limbs back into a more neutral position. It's a good figure, but I'd wait for the hot toy's batman to come out and read a few reviews on that one before deciding what batman to get.
