Ryuji
Starting to build a 1/4 scale Minmay kit. - First stage: puttying - fortunatelly this is a good quality casting kit,so I finished this stage easily. - Second stage : pinning - I'm using 2mm brass rod. azrhino
I like that sculpt. Minmay looks far less "childlike" and more like a young woman. It also would be a great pose to modify to make the outfit she wore in her concert at the end of DYRL. Anyone know how available this kit is? Oh, and thanks for the build thread Ryuji! Ryuji
Anyone know how available this kit is? 413716 She is still in stock on Hobbyfan. http://www.hobbyfan.com/product_info.php?c...+-+G-System+kit
Valk009
This kit is in my opinion one of the best one made out there with Minamy in her concert costume, although the legs could have been a little more to proportions!
big F
This kit is so much more detailed than the Arii 1/6 one I have. The Arii one of this outfit is one of the better detailed ones. How tall is it when assembled ? Great work by the way
Ryuji
How tall is it when assembled ? 413839 about 40 cm.

Ryuji
Making transparent eyes. I usually use clear resin, but this time I used Wave parts to make eyes lens.
Ryuji
Replacing earrings. The original earring was a not clear resin part,so I rebuilded using clear plastic from Gundam kit.

nightmareB4macross
415632 Wow!! That is simply an incredible paint job. I love how you kept the flesh tone more simple. Not a lot of over-shadowing. Amazing!!

big F
Awesome !! The main differences (apart from size) between this kit and the Arii 1/6 as far as I can tell is the clear bits. The ruffells round the skirt and sholders IMO they make the kit look far better. The hair sculpt is far better too. I think that when I build mine I`ll make clear ruffles instead. Just out of interest what did you use for skin tone.
Ryuji
Just out of interest what did you use for skin tone. 415866 I used Gunze (GSI) Mr.color. First, I paint the primer (Mr.SURFACER 1000),then a layer of Mr.WHITE SURFACER 1000 and then a mix of flesh (51), gloss white (1), flat white (62) and gloss clear orange (49).
