yeongpiao
Hi, This is going to be a long shot, but I've got to try: Recently bought some 1/55 Vintage Takatokus off eBay that turned out to be incomplete and not as described. All I can say is, I should have believed the things I read here about certain eBayers. I'm aware of the eBay claim process, but I wonder how on earth I'm going to proof that some items were missing when I got the stuff. To cut a long story short, I am looking to get the following items to complete the 1/55s: VF-1J Rick - Paperwork and sticker sheet, missles all on sprue. VF-1J Max - Paperwork and sticker sheet, missles all on sprue, gunclip. Thanks for any help that you guys can provide.
jenius
That's a lot of missing stuff! Sorry, the only extra I have is a gun... and I'm not even sure where I put it. Good luck!
Fortress_Maximus
Some people record themselves opening the package when they receive it. In additional, it helps to discuss the exact auction contents before you bid. If you got emails claiming parts 1,2,3,4 were suppose to be included but when you receive the package some are missing you might want to include that with your supporting documentation to ebay and/or USPS. yeongpiao
Thanks very much for the suggestions. The auction listed the items as "decals unapplied, complete with all accessories". Both descriptions turned out to be untrue. Trouble is, the pictures showed only the items in their 1/55 Battroid Valkyrie boxes, and the window on the boxes only show the valk. I suppose I should have asked for pictures of the Valkyrie boxes open with all the stuff laid out in full view, but then again, even if the photos were put up, how I am to prove (beyond recording on video the process of me opening the shipping carton right down to the opening of the Valkyrie boxes) that I received the items without the missing stuff, I really don't know. Hard lesson, because I paid A LOT for these. Really down about it. Crap.
LORD KUNGFU
let us know who the ebayer is. Do not keep this a secret. Do not protect this persons identity. He or she did you wrong and will do others wrong too. Whats the ebayers name? Ill be sure not to bid on his items. But always remember that buyers should beware on ebay. I find people using the words complete or mint in box to often in auctions now that they are meaningless. They claim mint or complete and when seeing the pictures, the items are obviously not either. I think sellers just throw those words in to get more bids.

Unfortunately the sellers "mib" doesnot include decals, missle spruce, or even instructions . I had to pass more than once. [it's been there for a while]. Always read carefully and don't drink and bid

cube
mib means mint in box = unopenedCIB means complete in box = everything that was mib is still there but has been touched/played with. I wouldnt say MIB means unopened...just that the toy is in mint condition and it comes in a box...MIMB would suggest the box is in perfect condition as well but may have been opened, and MISB would be unopened and still sealed.
