GutsAndCasca
I was able to finally obtain one of these from an awesome store called CIRCLEANIME.COM ---- highly recommended. Toys N' Joys has still not issued a refund to me, and they won't reply to my emails. AVOID THAT STORE AT ANY COST!!!!!!!! Thank you to everybody who helped me! Macrossworld is the best site ever created. --Brian Edited April 2, 2006 by GutsAndCasca
nightmareB4macross
Contact, Extreme Toys in Montebello, CA. IIRC they still have a few left. I am not sure what the price is but they do ship worldwide. Hope this helps. I have every toynami super poseable robotech figure. Except one, now. Two months ago I ordered the limited edition Hikaru VF-1S from a website called Toys \'n Joys. They never emailed me or sent the item after I paid for it. These people suck! I finally called them on the phone to ask why they don\'t return my emails and why I haven\'t received my merchandise, and they tell me they don\'t HAVE anymore of the item I already paid for and that they STILL have advertised on their webpage. So the collection I thought I had completed, lacks one more figure. If anyone out there can help me find one of these I\'d be eternally grateful! I don\'t care if it\'s loose or even dinged up. Thanks a bunch!--Brian 383353[/snapback]
RT junkie
I got the same run around from those clowns on a Hase VF-1D model. They had it on Ebay, I won it, and paid. After a couple weeks, amd several e-mails, they finally told me they didn't have any more, and gave a refund....

I had the same with GundamStoreandMore.com. So I solved my problem with another vendor and bought what I needed.

I waited and waited, keep in mind that i live in Hawaii now and that both of their stores are only about 15 mins away from my house, but for whatever reason they only had this game on their website and not in store so i purchased it online without asking questions. Finally i emailed them about my game 2 weeks after i paid for it and it turns out they'd been out of the game for going on a month, they didn't take it off their website in the meantime though... genius. Since then i try to stay away from shopping there both in person and online. Sad thing is that they always have alot of used games on sale and sometimes you can find some really rare stuff there too, so i guess it's give and take. Macross73
Toys n Joys was NO Joy I bought a bunch of Bandai 1/55 VF-1j Max -N- Miria from them about a year or so ago and they gave me the run around for a few months, since only part of my order was filled. I never got it all, but ended up using the Credit they offered to get other things. I dont recommend any use their ebay or website service. Either way i found the Max and Miria for about the same price or less not long after.

I ordered one off their website. Hopefully they're more competent than Toys N' Joys! Right now I filed a dispute with them on Paypal so I can get my money back. Mowe
I had a transaction with Toys N' Joys once and I must say once was enough. My story is as follow: Every thing was confirm with e-mail replies from them about shipping and final cost. Two weeks later, they sent me an e-mail and said I had to pay extra shipping because I chose the wrong shipping. I had the e-mail record as proof that I chose the right parcel option but because the good had yet arrived, I let them had it. Also, I paid for registered air parcel. When the good hadn't arrived for two weeks, I asked them where my good was. Their reply was parcel was already sent. So I kept waiting. When the package finally arrived in its fifth week, I noticed it wasn't the frieght company's fault. The date shown on the package was exactly one week from the the date of its arrival, meaning ToynJoy did not sent the package out until the third week from the date of my order (and payment). Liar and very unprofessional. Edited March 25, 2006 by Mowe
big F
I really feel for you all on this subject I to have been tricked lied to and conned before. I am currently waiting for a consignment to turn up bear in mind I won the auction in the begining of February paid there and then. I have mailed the seller (who is a macross and other anime shop seller) first off he said he sent it straight away. O.K so normal post from the U.S.A can take anything from 3 days to 2 weeks to the U.K. So I waited. I then got an email from the seller telling me the package had been returned to him because my address didnt exist. He cut and pasted my address from my email. The sameway many many people have done before including M.W users. They have never had problems. He told me I must have written my address wrong. As If.. Anyways He completely got the address wrong It was all written in random order so nowonder the posties couldnt deliver it. I mailed him and told him to resend it. I still havent got it but he says hes been away and just got back on the day I mailed him ( how convenient). I might be jumping the gun here but I think I gonna get conned here. If it dosnt get here by next friday Im gonna file a no delivery with eBay and get my cash back if I can from PayPal.

I know how much it sucks to need just one rare/limited edition figure left to complete your collection, but in the meantime it's impossible to find anyone selling it. It's funny how your post about the bad service you recieved at toys n joys has turned this into a bad online selling experience post. I really hope everyone whos still waiting for their packages get them in due order and i hope this also serves as a warning to everyone else to be wary of places like toys n joys . It's always interesting to check the postmark date on late items because you'll often find that the item didn't get shipped until you started asking them what's going on. In many of the circumstances you get lied to. I AM happy to report that I've had a couple of dealings with people from this website already, and they have both been really great! It's nice to find an entire website of people who are dedicated to preserving the integrity of the Macross name in all facets. This is fast becoming my favorite website! Unfortunately I've got my wife (whom I love more than anything) asking me if I'm flirting on here or something. haha ---Brian

It is the onus of the shipper to present a copy of the delivery invoice with YOUR signature on it (that's right, unless they can prove that you received it, the charges will be reversed, a shipping invoice is not enough). That means, if ever an item is lost in the mail, without insurance (it is the shippers responsability to insure it), by all means, call up the credit card company and file a non-delivery. One way or another, you will get your money back. I think you have about 60 days after your purchase to be able to do this, which is plenty of time for you to get your package. I just recently had an experience like this with a "reputable" company online, and they did not respond to any of my emails for about a week after I had sent payment. So, I called my credit company and filed a non-delivery. Exactly, two days later, I got an email from them immediately followed by a refund. And non of that -%10 restocking fee crap, %100 percent, refund. I don't know if it was just a coicidence, or if they got a phone call from Mastercard or something but I do know one thing, nobody f*cks around with the credit card company. nobody.... they're like the mob of the corporate world... But what happens if I made my payment with paypal? I'm disputing this, and it's taking forever with no progress in site.
