Uhhhhh, I still havent sold my joes. I will not sell my Macross stuff unless I am in need of money or my wife makes me sell the extras. I am still saving and I am not married, so I am good for now. Then again, I have a price... that price is that you better be Warren Buffett. Macross (AKA Robotech), TFs, Star Blazers, and GIJoe is what I grew up on. I can never turn my back on it.

ya know, looking at Godzilla's numbers, and my own thoughts on the manner, is anyone really buying the stealth without FPs? Is that going to be a 1/48 we can all score at super discount somewhere down the road because everyone opted for fast packs? Even worse, will no one still buy it because it's completely black and thus nearly impossible to customize?

EDIT - Godzilla, reading your response, I have to wonder if there isn't some element of an addiction to what you're doing? You're not investing, you're buying for sentimental reasons (and I think I do the same) but I can't really see why you'd get more than say... 4 of anything. Then you could have one for each mode and one sealed in a box. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this being your addiction though, you'll have a hell of a lot more to show for it than cigarettes or cocaine would get you.

not sure if i want to collect macross zero now or just wait til later when yamato corrected the problems on the valk.  i think i am really done with the 1/48 valk for now unless i can get a good deal on the CF.  the VF-1J of max and miria seem to be very expensive and i dont know if yamato is gonna release them again. so, other than the three i just mention, i am happy with what i have. beside i have to find a kick ass display case to put all of my cool toys. i still have to go back to my mom's house to get my old orguss (the coolest toy my mom ever got me). it is still in a decent condition considering i was the original owner. and i have to pick up the bandai gundam Mk II from zeta gundam. man, that toy really yellowed up. it's too bad cuz i really like that gundam a lot  . you guys know a good kick ass display case that i can buy? kyatsu

That's a neat idea. Where it says "Who is online" it could list everyone's names and the number of valks we all own There are currently 45 members online with 2000 Valks. Okay, maybe not, but I do like the sound of having something in our profiles for that..

There are many important things in life that come first before this hobby. I'm sorry if I may have given you the wrong impression. I've made lots of sacrifices to get the collection I have, and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. I've spent to much at times, sometimes in a wreckless manner.

Please be patient, it will all come together. Now, if you were just kidding, please rdisregard the mumbo jumbo above

Fever? more like an epidemic. We are victims of our own love for airplanes&robots. Yamato takes our money, and the only thing we can do is smile and give them some more money.

Well, yes it is an addiction. One thing is this: Macross is one of my favorite past times. Well GI Joe and TFs are a close 2nd. I am getting my toys before I get hitched . I will have to slow down soon... I need to buy a home.

EDIT: I never look to my toys as investment. Why? You will get disappointed. So if I can sell my toys for more, great. But that is if I need to eat or my family needs it. So you are correct, I get this for sentimental reasons.
