Toy Shops In Macau

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I would be heading to Macau and Hong Kong for a 8 days visit. Would like someone to recommend me where are the best toy shops in Macau to get Macross, New or Vintage Chogokins/big super robots, Transformers toys as well as western toys. Would appreciate if you guys can provide name of shops, address and contact details. BTW is there a place I can get original anime DVDs in Macau. Would it be cheaper for me to get the toys in Hong Kong or Macau ?

Many thanks

Regards

:)

I have no idea on Macau, but check the pinned thread for Hong Kong. Lots of toy shops there. Good time to pickup new Macross items. As for vintage, its a crapshoot as you need to hit every single shop and look for specific items.

Good luck and enjoy the 20-22 C weather here.

Never came across any toyshops in Macau. Well, at least not the sort of toys you mean anyway.

The Japanese department store there did have some Gundam MG kits and Gundam FIX toys last time I was there several years ago, but not a great selection and the prices were much higher than in HK.

Macau is good for girls, gambling, restaurants and furniture and that's it!

I have not been to Macau for years either but from what I recall there are not many or virtually no good toy shops <_<

Hong Kong is already very small and Macau is even smaller, so chances are very slim in finding a decent shop. Better try your luck there in the casinos, make a lot of money and spend it in Hong Kong :p
