Deimos
strange... I just tried to log in paypal 4 times and error msg said that my log in information not valid I changed my password and still same error msg I have a bad feeling abt this! previously 1 week ago , received a email from "paypal" stating I sent money for a xbox to a seller " gamerslair" (a whooping 455 USD) the email looks entirely identical to those "payment " sent from paypal... but upon checking my account, no money was transffered. the email also contains a "dispute payment" link to a unknown site... that is one of the oddity and the most cruical.. the whole email content is an image file, whereas the rea; paypal email consisted of text which u can copy and paste. so beware, follow NB4M advice DON\'T EVER RESPOND TO THESE TYPES OF E-MAILS or USE THE LINKS PROVIDED IN THEM. ALWAYS GO THE SOURCE ADDRESS, IF THE OCCURANCE IS REAL, THEN IT WILL APPEAR AT THE SITE YOU LOGGED INTO be cool , dun panick, go to paypal site directly by typing the url, ...check yr account, change the password if u want just to be secure... dun click any link !!! Fortress_Maximus
Try calling those b*stards and have them go through your account with you. See if they can do anything and also speak to a manager though you get pushback (F*CK em!) get a manager and let them know your legit concerns. Fortress_Maximus
So did everything work out wih Bryan? 397444 He has been MIA, have not heard from him since April 15th; 23 days and counting. I do believe him when he informed me he is working hard to preserve his business, but this situation involving his funds and paypal is beyond ridiculous; my patience has long since expired. No updates from either of them and I am out of both the 1/48s and the monies due.

Fortress_Maximus
Isn't his phone number in his sig? I noticed in his auctions he is accepting Paypal as a form of payment. 397723 No answers via phone and besides I am getting tired to chasing after him. Likewise with those b*stards at paypal who retroactively froze the funds in the account and claim they were "holding" it until the investigation has been concluded. Liars! Its been over 70 days since their oh so senseless investigation and not ONE F*CKING UPDATE from them via email or in my account on the actual progress (if any) made! They keep on giving me the run around and I've already faxed to the jerks copies of the receipt and the insurance receipt. Beyond this there is nothing else I can do to prove my claims, the entire situation now is in Bryan and paypals hands... I am completely at my wits end. baronv
Dang FM that's messed up. I thought that Bryan guy was on teh up-and-up as well when he went on the big buying splurge a few months ago. Hope you end up getting your cash back from Pay Pal.

Phren
also, a lot of emails clamiming to be from different credit unions/banks/ect keep showing up in my inbox since I started using Ebay/Paypay again. The all identify themselves as belonging to an existing credit union/bank/ect and say that the credit/debit card I'm using (which is not issued by or affiliated with the establishments they're claming to be from) has regestered 'suspicious activity' recently and that my account has been limited. Then they go on to say that you should contact them to verify your dealings or risk being 'further limited'. The thing is that they list links that appear to genuinly go to the siteof the back, ect in question. I was almost concerned until I recieved an identical second onesometimes later claming to be from a different bank/ect. Just thought I'd see if anyone else has gotten these recently? Die, Alien Scum!
Anyone still getting fradulent e-mails from service@paypal.com? 399086 I usually get 2 or 3 a week. I used to forward them to spoof@paypal.com, but since I still get 'em, I assume PayPal isn't doing anything about it. Let's face it, PayPal Customer Service is truly an oxymoron. Project Phoenix
I get these spoof mails once every 3 months or so and I always forward them to spoof@paypal.com and they so far have replied to me within 24 hours, thanking me for bringing it to their attention. Fortress_Maximus
I FINALLY managed to reverse the hold for the Bryan's payment from those BASTARDS at paypal. However the dumbf*cks returned the monies to him and not me! DAMN those stupid son of a b*tches! Follow up, when I called the reps were totally unhelpful and unsympathic to the fact the funds were held needlessly for so long! Paypal does NOT know anything about customer service! Furthermore, the source of the problem all along was Bryan's funding in his account, but again instead of refunding to me the funds they argued with me why it was justifed to send it back to him. Absolutely no remorse, so much as an apology for the inconvenience and grief they've caused. Bryan I need you to return the monies to me ASAP! I don't know what the deal with his lost communication with FM. However he has a lot of pride in his perfect feedback on e-bay. I don't think he would jepordize that perfect feedback that he worked hard for. He FM you has he given you back your money? If not just win an auctiion, then he'll have to have contact with you or face a negative. I wonder why he went straight to e-bay to sell his Macross collection without first comming here to MW. Roy's Blues
I think he may need the funds. Despite the fees, usually as a seller you make more money on Ebay. Everyone (including me) here is looking for a bargin or below retail price on Valks. who can blame them with 3 releases in 2 months Lately, If you don't sell to someone for whatever the reason, they nominate you to the blacklist even though NO monies were exchanged. /end rant
Fortress_Maximus
Well IMO people should nominate people to the blacklist who back out once an agreement is made. Whats the value of trusting someone when they give your their word and/or claim they will commit to buying something, only to back out? It's pointless. If sh*t like that happened on ebay you'd be slammed, negative feedback and non-paying bidder form. There is no excuse for irresponsible behavior like that. In the case of Bryan I no longer have any reason to trust a word he writes, he has given far too many reasons to consider him a deadbeat and blacklist him. Bryan he has repeatedly failed to returned my monies owed and this is pure BULL especially since the funds were made directly available to him in his paypal account since May 16th! Yes its only been four days and counting, HOWEVER, I've been attempting to establish contact with Bryan Davis for 39 DAYS and counting! He has not returned any calls, pms, or paypal requests. You'd be equally pissed if you were in my situation.

Die, Alien Scum!
Well, Bryan got almost $700 for the four 1/48 valks he sold earlier tonight on eBay; not to mention all the other stuff he's still got listed.
