vlenhoff
this is a FACT... if i did not start this thread, i never would've seen my money. he filed a claim against me knowing full well paypal would side in his favor and i never heard from him again until AFTER i started this thread. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- if you guys want him off the blacklist, why don't you place orders with him and upon a successful transaction, you can nominate him to the SS list until DA/mods feel hes had enough successful transactions to be removed off the list. this is the way its always been done. Tell you what... I'll place an order with Toy-wave, and I'll document the progress and final impressions. I never had a problem with them in 100% of my purchases. I doubt you would have not gotten your money bak. This is Toy-wave, this is not a no name toy store. Yes you experience was very negative. I do not argue you that fact. At the very least you got your money back, and I doubt it was because of this thread. I had an issue once with Ken, and we solved it with PMs. Why would he want to screw you and loose all of the other MW members who buy from him? If you Pm'ed him about your situation, and then create a thread against him, then obviously the situation worsens. Hence the reason of your delayed refund. I'm I wrong anyone? Ken wanted to be in the clear before he gave you the refund. Hell, I would probably do the same thing if i was Ken. sorry...

Hence the reason of your delayed refund. I'm I wrong anyone? Ken wanted to be in the clear before he gave you the refund. Hell, I would probably do the same thing if i was Ken. I think you're wrong. I'm sure if Ken responded quickly and fairly it would have never gotten escalated to a thread in the first place. If you would have held someone's money ransom for any reason you need to check your morals. If it isn't your money, and you didn't live up to your side of the bargain, and it's YOUR fault the transaction fell apart, then you have no right holding onto the funds regardless of how vocal the person you screwed is in pointing out you screwed them. That's just being childish and when was the last time you found being childish helped resolve a situation? DND is right. If people still feel comfortable buying from ToyWave then they can place their orders and if everything turns out spiffy then great, this is all water under the bridge. Maybe ToyWave has learned from this and will stop shipping out second-hand toys and will react when a nervous buyer sets a deadline (or at least communicate sufficiently enough to avoid all of this). Sumdumgai
It is precisely due to incidents like this that the blacklist exists. A reputable dealer screws up, a member here has a bad experience, so he nominates the dealer for the blacklist as a warning. We should know about these bad experiences and how the dealer handles it for reference for later to decide whether we really want to buy from that vendor or not. RT junkie
Hi! One thing I think need to Say is that ALL the YAMATO Macross toys are directly from YAMATO Hong Kong Distributor Asia Goal and we won't sell any of second hand Macross toys! Make it Clear we NEVER sell Macross Second hand toys to customer, if that toy is second hand we will stated at there at the begining. Can anyone found a double sticker at the internal Packing then can confirm that toy is second hand? Also for DnD case he found the sticker at the interal Packing. I think non of the seller in the world will open all the outer box and check on the inside packer. Because once we open the other box, people will start complain it is second hand too. Please be fair to the sellers. Toyman Can anyone enlighten me on this double sticker? I just received two SV-51 Ivanov, and both have a white sticker that says 9148 on it, as well as on the outer cardboard shipping box, and the inner plastic is double taped. I've never received a Yamato with this type of sticker on it in the past. Is it some sort of quality control or inspection sticker from Yamato? Thanks for any help or advise you guys can give me! Hiriyu
My SV-51 (purchased through TMP) had double tape on the inner tray, but nothing indicated that it had been opened or removed. I found nothing wrong with it save some of the "standard" SV-51 issues like floppy wings and flip-flopped wing hinges. Didn't notice any numbered sticker such as RT junkie noticed. *quick edit - RT junkie, from what you describe (sticker appeared on shipping box as well), sounds like something your dealer added. I've been buying from the same dealer for years and never received a valk with this sticker on the box. I guess after reading about DND's debacle I was little worried these might be second handers - but it's reassuring to hear that others have seen the double tape with no issues. misterryno
Well......I am glad to come home from Christmas vacation to find this issue somewhat resolved. To you DnD.....I am happy for you mate to have some money back after this huge F Up by a supposidly good dealer. And to you ToyWave (ToyMan whoever the hell you are)....You still need to grow up and learn how to treat your customers right. Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0
Hey guys, how did VOE.com end up on the blacklist? I only ask this because I have tried finding any details of interactions with them on this forum, but could find nothing but their name on the blacklist. Just wondering, as I was contemplating ordering from them last month for xmas, but never recieved any replies to either my phone or email inquiries. Consider this matter over. As far as I can muck thru all the crap DnD said he was over it and a refund was somewhat made. If you don't like the rules of buying, selling or trading on MW, then don't do any of it. We're not responsible for your money or merchandise and we never will be. tough luck to everyone that gets ripped off, if you did your homework and still got ripped, that's still not our problem. miriya
I had bad experience with ebay seller jchung. He is not a macross world member as far as I know so it may be slightly irrelevant except that he regularly sells Yamato Macross collectibles on ebay and I want to let you all know that I (as well as others) have had less than perfect experience with him. The bottom line is that I did finally get the item I purchased but it was over a month after I payed for it when he had quoted me, previous to my buying, that it would arrive in 7 to 10 days. There was a lot of back and forth emails and excuses and I would have bought his story if it was not for the fact that he was giving the same exact story to another MW member here who bought a similar item from him (same item different auction - buy it now) and that it turns out he has a history of taking far too long to ship. Anyway just a heads up to anyone here who is tempted by his low prices, if you go with him be prepared for a head ache and to spend over a month wondering if you will ever see your purchase or not. I did get my item so why am I saying it was bad experience? Because previously to buying it I had contacted him asking when it would arrive to me and he said 7 to 10 business days when it turns out that he did not even take the item to the post office until a month had passed from the buy it now date. My advice is to avoid jchung but if you do not mind waiting over a month and being told many different stories (one of which was that in HK the post office gets 4 days off for new year) then you may be happy with the competitive prices. /warning>

big F
Is it me or are a lot of sellers getting really bad lately. I have lost count over the last year of the amount of times I've had to chase stuff. The excuse that "I posted it the day you paid me " then when you receive it it's got yesterdays postmark on it. I really think that eBay should introduce a filter that allows you to block yourself from seeing auctions for people you want to blacklist. that and the people who (pick your subject) post hundreds of auctions for the same thing thats over priced and no one wants any way. It would make searching easier.

A few days ago he claimed the post office returned it and he'd be mailing a new one the next day. By the sound of everything I've been reading here, that's what he told other people too and he just hasn't shipped the damn thing yet. Oh well. Going by his feedback around that time, it would of been hard to have predicted getting hosed like this. Sure as hell will be the last time I buy anything from him. Toboro
Just so everyone here knows, I believe that jchung2000 is the same guy as cskj on Ebay. I ordered from both around the same time but recieved my ivanov and my nora from Jchung first. I then contacted cskj because I had not recieved my yf 19 or roy with strike parts from him yet and he replied back in regards to the other auction. Also his signature from either one is regards, Johnson or thanks, Johnson. I figured I would warn everyone just because for me, my bad experience came from what appears to be his other account. I've noticed that since the start of January there's been a trickle of feedback for SV-51's citing the slow shipping and questionable packing materials. I figured it was MWers slowly but surely getting theirs in and not taking any guff, given the comments here and the times matching up. Here's hoping to getting mine soon and intact. In a Nutshell that is it. I have 100% good feedback and Im willing to tarnish this now and leave some neutral or negative feedback to the sellers that deserve it. I think that some of the sellers rely on the fact that most buyers don't want to tarnish their feedback rating so don't leave bad feedback Whats the worst you get loads of bad feed back posted to you , just open a new account, thats what all the dodgy sellers do. I rather spent more on a local toy seller or eBay seller. People were buying from JChung because at the time he was the first person to have them in (and at a very good price, for that matter) while HLJ.com was taking forever to even acknowledge they were out, stock them, and ship them out. Not all foreign sellers are bad, but it can be one hell of a shot in the dark to order from one unfortunately. This is the first time I've had this kind of problem when buying from a Hong Kong seller, and it's definitely soured me to doing it again anytime soon. EMS is 7-10 days shipping in just about every situation. My package was post-dated 18/01/08, IE it was sent January 18th (outside the US, a lot of countries put date first instead of month when formatting a date in only numbers) 2008. The item was paid for on December 3rd, 2007. He's incredibly flaky, and only seems to make any real effort when hounded or 'harmed' by negative feedback.
