Jasonc
Yes, I know it's a long shot, and the resin parts market is drier than the Sahara, but hopefully this will hit someone who has it around and is willing to let it go. Willing to Buy or trade. I have craploads of Macross stuff and Robotech stuff, so if there is something you'd want for a trade, let me know. Basically It needs to be for the 1/55 scale, and I need the whole set, including wings, head, and all accessories. If you don't have the cockpit, that's fine, but would prefer it. Thanks! kanata67
if/when I finally get me an original boxed seeker the resin market won't be such a barren wasteland anymore.
Save
This topic is too confusing. Is it the Ostrich or Elintseeker that your talking about. Tell me the maker, pic would help too. I will see what I can find here in Tokyo. How's it going Jasonc, let me know I you are looking for any other kits.
Jasonc
SaveRobotech, how's it going. I'm actually looking for the Elintseeker parts for the old Bandai 1/55 toy. Most likely recast parts, as the originals may be out of my budget right now. NB4M's mind was just off kilt a little and was thinking of a different recast kit, which I actually would still want. But, in anycase, I may be in luck, looking into a few options now, but again, still looking. On a side note,,, NB4M, send me that PM for the Ostrich parts. Thanks guys. phatslappy
that name sounds familiar. Mike Salzo or something right? Anyways, I can't find my camera right now, so I can't take a picture of it. If I find it in the next couple of days, I'll definitely post up a pic. Jasonc
$1500??? That's why I'm gonna customize one. Man, for many people that's a month's worth of work. Tell you what, my next refi I do, I'm gonna buy one of these and make tons of resin recast and sell them dirt cheap so everyone can have an opportunity to have this toy. Then we'll see what these ebay robbers will say then.

I aquired my set after much begging, pleading, hoping, waiting, and mailing stuff to spain. I believe the molds were spent two years before I started looking so beer's took his time getting one last press out of them before they disintigrated. Beer's work is fantastic, as anybody who has his work will attest. I managed to get beer's gbp, vt, ve, and other bits and have played extensively with them. I have no friggin clue how he cast some of the parts in the seeker kit. I swear it looks like parts were cast around other parts rather than assembled! I cannot figure out how he got the dish to mount to the dish arm without casting around an existing piece. Once I get me an original and have some experience under my belt I'll happily tackle the project though... with beer's advice of course... just have to send him more tribute . edit out for 20k+ I can get an injection mold made for all the fast pack sets. Just imagine spitting out seeker, ostrich, strike, and gbp sets on spruce every few seconds . Till the cops come with a cease and desist ayways . With as many vintage jetfires and other 1/5's out there I am at an absolute loss to why bandai hasn't at least sold a fastpack set seperately like toynami did. At the same $25 price they would have a rediculous market... especially if it was in jetfire/milla colors. Heck, any color would sell absurdly. I can name a few people around here who bought reissue super's just for the armor . How come bandai never listens to what tell them to do... just like those criminals on cops that never shoot and always run no matter how loud I yell at the tv . You would think bandai and yamato would have some-one here at the boards to relay ideas that would make them money. Oh yeah... wait... where is shawn anyways? I can't find the pic of the seeker set laid out but here it is dry-mounted Edited November 22, 2005 by kanata67
