yeah that air craft carrier just rocks!! Dayum it took him 19 years to build that sucker!?!? sheesh!! That's a whole lifetime of a accompishment. Why would you sell such a beauty? And did you guys read the way he wants to do shipping? Paid accomodations and ride to deliver the model himself so he can reattach it for you! damn that's crazy! That's gonna end up like an extra 500 bucks or so. sheesh! must be nice to be a high roller! :p:D:lol:

A 1/4 of a million US and the reserve is not met? WHo the hell would buy this sucker? Granted, it is certainly awesome, but can an ordinary guy afford that? No way!

maybe a museum. I know the smithsonian air&space had a "super sweet" scale carrier on display. Friggin huge and friggin awsome, but not so much for the collector as it really needs to be seen by masses.

anything awsome? Thats just asking for problems. Anybody catch the [5 minutes with my breasts] ebay auction a while back

Extrodinary model pieces like this are not intended for ordinary people to afford. Thats like telling Ferarri or Lamborghini that there cars are to much for the average joe to afford. So if somebody cant afford this custom model, then there is always the Revell model that they can buy at a hobby shop.

They did and still do as far as i know.

I had some pictures of it but i cant seem to find them now. It was detailed to the max. I forgot what carrier it was on top of that, it might have been the enterprise or it might have been the nimtz. It was about the same size as the one that the guy is selling in his auction but 250k is insane! Make mine a USS Flagg heh...
