yellowlightman
Hey sithlord, great to see another Mac guy around here. Here's a pic of G4 tower desktop and mini-laptop (with Windows XP Home Edition in Japanese, no less... ugh).

s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
kewl table but funny sounding name! Anyways, I'm envious of this guy's setup. It's probably the best setup I've seen as far as Macs are concerned. PC people are also invited to join. I would like to see some Alienware setup. How sturdy is it? Edited February 19, 2005 by bigkid24
EXO
Crap. This thread reminds me that I need a new computer desk.Hey Sithlord, is your home office desk from Ikea? How sturdy is it? yeah its from Ikea, its very sturdy because it has metal frames. I wish I had the newer type... they don't have those two sliding things on the side. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
Weird.. every setup is a Mac...:Dat ya got one besides the always cool mac ysetup our welcome to post 'em. BigKid24- Yeah as exo has mentioned that it has metal frames and is from Ikea. It's a great desk especially for bigger flat screens which hopefully I will purchase one shortly. I agree with exo that I do miss the slidding flat surface that can be pushed in out of the way or out for more crap to load on your desk. ewilen
Another Mac guy here, but I'm not going to show my home or work setup because both are shamefully untidy. (At the moment I'm typing on my wife's Dell laptop, though.)

And 80GB with a DVDR isn't enough space to store anime?
NoSuchFile
Er, why would you be buying a Mac to play games? And 80GB with a DVDR isn't enough space to store anime? First : It's the reason i still got a PC, not enough games are multi-platform, for now, it should change within the next few years Second : I'm lazy, so i don't like swaping cd's , that's why my pc has 220GB in hard drives

s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
Currently my desktop both home & office is filled with a lot paperwork. Those pics were taken when I had re-arranged desks and they're rarely clean. In fact those shots were almost a year ago since my company that I work for purchased the G5 for me. Just about the only games I've played in the last year on my Mac are MAME ROMs and some random homebrew games, same goes for my Windows laptop. If you want games buy an Xbox. Capt Hungry
Anubis - nice looking rig you have there! Is that an Antec tower or is it something else? (I forget who else was using that design). I have Antec's 1080 SOHO case. It's plain old boring beige and weighs a ton, but I love it. Even has a fan blowing on the vid card. I will post a pic soon. I admit to not having much in the way of anime around me. I have had to move the office twice in the last year and don't wanna get to involved in having move anime related things around.
