s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
All this talk of Liquid Stone's version of their 1/100 YF-19 makes me wonder why Yamato has never released any info or updates on any upcoming Macross products. The Garland is due to be released and have been known for quite sometime and it seems that it such a popular mecha that Yamato is confident in releasing it but what about the Yf-19. Why no info? Has the popularity died down for this mecha?
twich
Actually, while I would love to have a YF-19 and maybe a repaint to the VF-19A or maybe even the VF-19F/S.....I would really dig having a VF-0S and all the rest of the mecha from Macross Zero. So, I would rather have other because the prospect of a SV-51 DD/Nora type is really tempting. Twich
zeo-mare
for me it is the Garland, it is something new to me and it looks great. i would love to see a new Yf-19 with fast packs but to be honest it has been so long i am just sick of hearing about it. it is not going to come out and when they finally do get around to making it, no one will have any intrest in it, including myself. i am fearing the VF-0 will end up the same way, by the time it is released the next macross series will be out and i do not want to think how long it will take to get that mercahdise on the market. they really need to take a cue from Bandai and Gundam and get this suff out in time for the series to be released, if they did i think Macross would be far more popular and the fans would be much happier. chris Edited February 16, 2005 by zeo-mare
ewilen
I didn't much like Megazone 23 part 1, still haven't seen part 2, therefore no real interest in the Garland. I would have voted for the YF-19 fastpack except that you have that "other" option. Like twich, I can think of a lot of things that would make me happier than a YF-19, including a decent VF-0 and SV-51, a green TV-type Q-Rau, a set of destroids, or any of the other Zentradi mecha. eugimon
A perfect YF-19 with or without fast packs is what I want most at this point... a garland would be cool but I'm in no rush at this point... An SV-51 would be second for me.
do not disturb
i don't know or care what a garland is, so the 19 its is!
Graham
Definitely a resculpted nicer looking YF-19 first, followed closely by some perfect variable large scale VF-0 & SV-51 toys. Although I like the Megazone 23 anime, I'm not really interested in the Garland. Graham
Mechamaniac
I'll be the odd man out. While I love the YF-19 design, and am much more of a Macross fan, the 1/72 scale YF-19 toys have been suck ass since day 1, and an overall piss poor imiatation of the anime. The Garland on the other hand, has been a lifelong (ok, since I saw Megazone back in the day) dream for me to own as a toy, and if the toy is anywhere near as good as the proto pics look to be, then I will have to buy several of it. So, for me, it's the Garland all the way!

bigkid24
I'm happy to see other anime shows getting toy attention but I want my YF-19 FP first and foremost!
JELEINEN
Megazone 23 II got me into anime, so a Garland toy would just be beyond cool. Not that I wouldn't like a better VF-19, but it takes back seat to transforming motorcycle goodness.
Rune
Got to go with the Garland. Edited February 17, 2005 by Rune
Aegis!
I would rather prefer some DECENT Macross Zero toys before anything else so I´ll go with the ¨other¨ option. To be honest I´ve lost any hopes of seeing an improved YF-19 , besides , what if they actually released it ? It´ll certainly dissapoint everyone to the point of motivating riots if they released it in the same manner as the 21 , meaning 1/72 scale and minor improvements and in the other hand if they released a bigger perfect variable version of it it wouldn´t be fair for those who bought the crappy 21. So in any case someone will feel let down anyway. in the best case scenario we could get a whole new line of M+ toys but then again , the suppossedly re-release of the 1/72 toys would be left incomplete without a new 19, and then again , we will still suffer delays and worse yet , we wouldn´t see any kind of M0 or VF-X2 toys any time soon if they decided to catch up with M+. Murphy
come on its macross world, the yf-19 will be the #1 answer
EXO
I didn't really enjoy megazone animes that much. i've had them for over 20 years and I baely watched them. But I'd get anything Artmic designed. Garlands, Motoslave... hell I even bought the Alphas...
kensei
I would like to see a Garland as Megazone 23 was a great substitute for Macross for me. But, Yamato should get their priorities right first and get that YF19 out pronto. They siad that they would launch it, so launch it already. And if they haven't finished yet, then bloody well get moving on it.
