Kotobukiya proudly presents the FINE ART STATUE SIGNATURE SERIES curated exclusively by the Kucharek Brothers!

Every detail of the product development process, from character selection to concept illustration, final sculpt and paint has been painstakingly executed or overseen to the Brother’s exacting specifications.

With an impressive career in illustration, sculpting and product design spanning over 2 decades, brothers Brian and Dennis Kucharek form an unstoppable duo once the creative energy starts flowing. It should come as no surprise that their sculpts are some of the most coveted comic and pop culture releases in collections today.

As the inaugural entry in the Signature Series the brothers have returned to a character they first sculpted back in 2007 CABLE! The time traveling mutant, who is the son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor is masterfully sculpted in 1:6 scale, standing an impressive 14 inches tall on the remains of Nimrod, an advanced mutant hunting sentinel. From the intricate details found in Cable’s techo organic arm to his formidable arsenal of advance weaponry including 3 plasma rifles, this is the ultimate representation of the one time X Force team leader and mutant freedom fighter.

The Fine Art Signature Series featuring the Kucharek Brothers are limited edition, one time production statues, each with a unique serial number on the base. Made of high quality resin and meticulously hand painted, these top shelf releases are sure to take the spotlight in any collection, big or small. Up next in this series is DEADPOOL, which will make the perfect companion piece for Cable!

@no3Ljm - Hordak does look good, however I passed over it as was asking $250  [?] USD when the pre-order went up (literally a price of a freaking Hot Toy’s figure. I got the regular version of Skelly at $180 USD).
That saying, the sides of the “shorts” that he’s wearing is much shorter than the original sketch renders; Hordak should be wearing Speedo swimming trunks for all that matters. 🤣

The Deluxe version (with the tri-lobed bola weapon, pet and whatever else that came with it) at $260 USD upon listing Sold Out within minutes. There’s also the Power Con version that was closer to the Animated version (also sold out within minutes).

Hahaha! Good thing that I don't collect 1/6 anymore. I'm actually tempted for that Mezco Battinson. But I'll probably wait for Mafex version instead.

Wow! Two 1/6 Batmobiles announcement? :shok:

So it's a question of whose release is going to be superior between Hot Toys and Jazzinc, right? And it looks like Jazzinc is weathered and has more features than Hot Toys.

Jazzinc will offer weathered and non-weathered. Hot Toys is only a tease so far and they're known for teasing products and not following through just to scare the competition. Hot Toys can be quite petty if you know more about them. Jazzinc is farther along in development as they have a working prototype and will most likely release earlier as well.

HORDAK!

Shipping delayed!

Again!

Casting a beady eye on the Mondo Revelation Skeletor, if he ever gets made. I'm a fan of the first mini-comics Skeletor so I like his feet, the boots never worked for me.

Hope the figure includes the sword and not just the Havok Staff.

Are they going to be doing the entire main cast in this format? Looks pretty interesting, especially the differing heads and the "animation" style cel-shading and lines!

I doubt.

I don't think so as well @pengbuzz. Mondo is very selective on what they're going to make I know that they have plans for She-Ra, Battle Cat, Panthor and other stuff. There's a couple of 1/6th links that cater to Mondo 1/6th stuff and maybe further details.

AH, okay. I would have liked to seen what they would do with Cyclops, Rogue, Prof. Xavier, Gambit and the rest of the gang.

Well, Hot Toys set an awfully high bar to clear...

I mean they did back then to their credit. Their stuff is years old compared to this new one from Queen Studios. I'd say though Hot Toys still couldn't get the likeness down in their last attempt which was the 1/4 scale and that should have been easier given the larger size.

Queen Studio's Joker borders the customized following and the price reflects it. While the seamless wrists look good, I do wonder if the tradeoff of not having articulated wrists is worth it.

The question will be if production pieces can match the quality of this prototype especially with the headsculpt and rooted hair.

@PsYcHoDyNaMiX - That Queen’s Studio Heath Ledger 2 pack will cost you a tad more than $1,000 USD from what I understand. Plus what @crackpot mentioned about those non-articulated wrists, I’m more curious on how it’s going to be done properly if it’s not there.

I’m waiting for a eventual LoTR Sarumon with the staff and the globe as I was late in the game in getting the Asmus version. Their version of Gandalf, Legolas and Bilbo (or is it Frodo?) doesn't really pop out that much to me.

2nd Edit: Here's a Youtube vid in Mandarin (with subs) and check out the "Incredible Joker Collectables" vid also by them.
