  1. So, I'm not trying to start a hate thread or any fights. I'm curious to hear what idols from the Macross continuity you like the best. Any music or musician/group are fair game. I'll kick it off, I like Sheryl Nome. I like her character (even if she's a bit conceited and arrogant), she's honest with herself, and I actually find her music to be the most catchy. Now don't get me wrong, I like the others, though Minmei is probably my least favorite, since she's a very flimsy character. I dislike Nekki Basara, but I like Fire Bomber. I'd say Ranka is my second favorite, she's really upbeat and cheerful, which is refreshing. What about y'all?

  4. Tomorrow is Mylene's Birthday, and that means that Chie Kajiura will be holding another one of her annual tribute gigs to everyone's favourite pink-haired, half-meltran waif (thats waif, not waifu you damn kids!). Save and I will be there among the crowd so stay tuned for impressions early next week! In the meantime, here are reports from the previous two Mylene Nights just in case anyone missed them. 5. Thanks to the Macross Share guys for uploading this old PC game. You can easily extract the resources from it and check out the latest in home digital technology circa 1995. Probably the biggest draw for this game is a couple of "virtual concerts." I put them on youtube for your convenience It's a radically Quicktime! Another movie on here teaches you have to use Photoshop to edit a bunch of raw cel scans they included on the disk into your own images. That was very nice of them.
