Hey all, I want to update my Yamato 1/48 review with a collage of all releases like I've done for some other toys. I have something similar now but it's with small, low res photos so I'm hoping to upgrade. To complete the collage I need pictures of the cannon fodder VF-1A and Super VF-1J Max toy. I just need a picture of the top of the box, hopefully from as straight on as possible, and hopefully with any lights off at an angle so there isn't a glare right in the front of the box. I would also welcome pics from of the other sides to eventually include the full collage for each toy's box but for now, the front just helps me get this release schedule up. Thank you for any help! Here's the pic I'll be replacing with a 4K pic that includes release info:
Hey everyone, it's with a bit of sadness I do this but I am out of room and have to limit myself to hero collecting and get rid of some of my non-heroes and duplicates. Here are the terms: A) Prices do NOT include shipping. I will charge actual shipping. I will default to USPS Parcel with tracking but you can pay for expedited shipping, insurance, whatever you want. B) Prices assume payment is sent via Paypal as a personal or 'gift' payment. C) If you want to use a Paypal business or 'goods' payment, wait until I send you an invoice. You will need to pay the Paypal fees and will need to cover the costs of insurance. D) These toys are staying in the U.S. because I don't want to stand in line at the USPS during the holiday season. E) If toys don't sale, I'm going to find a way to make more room and keep them. I will hear out offers but may not respond as a means of being courteous if you shoot too low (and I'm a super busy guy) All toys are complete with box and all accessories, most have been handled very sparingly, 7) Yamato Olive Drab Weathering Tomahawk $165 Things that will get you trade cred: Macross 1) Takatoku 1/100 VF-1J Hikaru 4) Takatoku 1/144 Collector's series VF-1S Focker 5) Takatoku 1/144 Collector's series Tomahawk 6) Yamato Gnu Dou VF-1 toys (all except VF-1S Focker) 7) Yamato V2 Elintseeker 9) Yamato gray launch arm 10) Yamato V2 VF-1J Hikaru Gray Goggle Version Robotech 1) Matchbox reissues of the 1/144 Destroid toys (all variants) 2) Matchbox Bioroid 3) Matchbox Bioroid sled toy 4) Matchbox VF-1 toy (for 1/18 scale pilot) 5) Exosquad VF-1 toy (for 1/18 scale pilot) 6) Matchbox Zentraedi power armor toys (either/both variants) 7) Matchbox Invid toys (Scout and Shock Trooper) '8) Toynami bookends featuring Rook (Loose but unbroken is fine for all bookends though shipping would be tricky) 9) Toynami bookends featuring Rick 10) Toynami bookends featuring Roy (or Rick) in VF-1S Patlabor 1) CM's Griffin with Aqua Unit (or HK Edition) 2) CM's AV-98 Reactive Armor Ingram 3) CM's vinyl Asuka MPL-96 (police variants, don't need the orange one) VOTOMS 1) Yamato 1/24 remote controlled Scopedog toys (Must be "B" band). 2) Classic Takara 1/24 Dual Model red shoulder toy Dougram 1) Any Takara 1/72 Dougram toys (must be complete, closer to new the better)
Hey guys, I bought two mass production TV VF-1A toys. Both were described as being brand new but one was... not. The good: It comes with everything, the exterior box is in great shape, and the toy looks brand new in fighter mode. The bad: One of the shoulder hinges is cracked.. While the toy can function perfectly in all three modes (and does, if you see a TV VF-1A in any of my videos, it's this toy), it's really hard to transform it from fighter mode where you have to yank the arm up over the stopper without having that arm pop off. If that happens, you have to continue transforming the arm to get the base of the shoulder where you want it, then get some pliers, push the pin down, put the arm back on, then push the pin back up. Obviously, getting a shapeways replacement would be an easier route to go if you plan on transforming the toy frequently. The ugly: The plastic shell the toy comes in is cracked (see the pick of the toy in the tray removed from the box, look at the top corners). It really doesn't affect anything and just proves Yamato's plastic shells do their jobs. The cool but not stock: Looks like the previous owner used a gundam marker to make the barrels pop out more on the gun. It's actually pretty cool but not stock: I'm asking $100 shipped in the continental US. Shipping includes tracking. If you would like to add insurance and/or pay with a business account that's fine assuming you pay the additional costs. Local pick up might be an option at a discount but I'm super busy so you're going to have to work with me on the pick-up time.
