Twitter Ben Mauro - Concept Designer and Art Director lately worked on the Valerian movie. Bill Sienkiewicz - worked mainly with DC and Marvel Chris Samnee - I see mostly Marvel stuff, not really much art but has a Patreon for his doodles Demizu Posuka - Posuka Demizu (出水 ぽすか, Demizu Posuka), is a Japanese manga artist known for doing art for Kirugumi and Yakusoku no Neverland. Feng Zhu - Veteran designer who has his own school in Singapore. IZMOJUKI / Junji Okubo - artist/mechanical designer. Author of Industrial Divinities. Jason Fabok - Comic book artist working for DC Comics on Justice League. Jim Lee - started in 1987 as an artist for Marvel Comics, illustrating titles such as Alpha Flight and The Punisher War Journal, before gaining popularity on The Uncanny X-Men. Lee Weeks - known for his Daredevil works (accdg to Wikipedia) Mateusz Urbanowicz - Polish artist living in Japan, lately worked on backgrounds for the movie Your Name Peter Krause - worked on Daredevil but there's lots of non-art posts (politics etc) Sean Gordon Murphy - Batman artist and writer sparth/Nicolas Bouvier - Halo Art Director, Microsoft-343. Author of the Structura art books. Tenjin Hidetaka - If you're in a Macross forum you should know this guy by now. 12. So I liked avatar last airbender...and I stress "liked" I wasn't giant fan, but appreciated the show. Now that The Legend of Korra has aired, I'm liking it a whole lot more and thought the first 2 episodes were great. The art style and animation has been knocked up. I'm sure animation quality may drop in later episodes. No review here, other than to make some people aware to check it out if they had any interest in avatar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-_EoE0JMhE
  13. I happened to stumble across this bit of animation the other day and was wondering if anyone knew where its from!? It only runs for a few seconds but its still crazy awesome!! I noticed it runs a bit faster than normal whilst displayed here but you can still see it clearly enough..

  15. Came across a great little animated short that has some really mind blowing aerial dog fighting animation that probably a lot of Macross fans will appreciate. Film is called "Paths of Hate". Link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjXr9Nj5ZbI Enjoy.
  16. Couldn't find a thread about this series, so does anybody else watch this? Some really great stuff. Simple, but nice art direction. Funny writing; lots of laughs to be had. If you don't know the show is about the adventures of a human kid (possibly the last human) named Finn the Human, and his sidekick Jake the Dog. They live in the magical Land of Ooo (which is actually a post-apocalyptic Earth). Oh, and Jake is a magical dog. And Finn is hots for Princess Bubblegum, who is a princess made of bubblegum. Then there's the thousand year old vampire Marceline the Vampire Queen, who is a cool rocker chick. There's Beemo, Finn's sentient video game system. And there's Dr. Princess, but she's not really a princess; Princess is just a surname. I'll stop gushing about it. But really, it's my favorite thing on TV at the moment.

The film is directed by Rob Minkoff (The Lion King, Stuart Little 1-2) and features the voices of Ty Burrell (Phil in Modern Family, Jean-Pierre Napoleon in Muppets Most Wanted), Max Charles (young Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man), Ariel Winter (Carrie/Robin in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, young Trixie in Speed Racer), Stephen Colbert (The Colbert Report), Leslie Mann (Judd Apatow's wife), Allison Janney (C. J. Cregg in The West Wing, Peach in Finding Nemo), Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs), and Stanley Tucci (George in The Lovely Bones, Joshua in Transformers: Age of Extinction). 18. The second batch of the season 6 episodes will start in June on Comedy Central. Prepare to laugh, cry, and throw up apparently this summer. Hope you have a strong stomach for this. Also, more good news everyone! The voice actors have been hinting that the series has been picked up for additional seasons, but today I think it's becoming more likely. Futurama Renewed For Another Season
  19. Hi guys, This is the closest forum I can think of to off topic on Macrossworld, so hope no one takes offence to it. I really need some help spreading news of a project outside of Sweden, especially in English speaking parts of the world. To those who remember my work on the Homeworld and Homeworld 2 total conversion mods in the Fan Works section, amongst various other fan works projects, I have been away from the community for a good few years, busy getting my degree in 3D animation. Now I have started an indie animation studio and I am trying to crowdfund some short films for a new media series called Duffton Friends. I could use some help spreading the word and gaining traction outside my country of residence, Sweden. It is not Macross, but it is animation, and by someone that loves Macross. I’d appreciate the help. Show some love, and I’ll do some Macross modelling on the side and release my work to any aspiring 3D modellers out there. The Indiegogo Link The Website Prototype Short Film
