  1. On display at Tamashii Nation 2017 but no pics... for now. Supposedly 1/48 scale. Reported from:
  2. For those who have this kit, I was first exposed to it in the USA as distributed by Revell, and noticed the head has no "rim" to the visor; it's one smooth surface to the "lens". My question: Is that 1J head design unique to this mold?
  3. Greetings! Here's my new favorite Valkyrie. This is my 3rd 1/48 build. I'm still improving and finding it hard to go back to 1/72s. I love how the legs lock into the fuselage, the nosecone section is better enforced and the feet can be installed after leg assembly. The VF-1J was also a step up from my VF-1Ss with extra molded controls, decals for the cockpit and it's setup to accept the HUD pieces. I didn't use the decals for the cockpit though. I just painted the molds instead and added the VF-1J cockpit decals to one of my VF-1Ss.
  4. Arcadia announcement at WF2018 Winter. Price to be determined. Photos from Dengeki Hobby. I like it. I'll put it right next to the 30th valk.
  5. Recently I have one of the members here introducing me to legos and then I branched into nanoblock due to the costs and space required, any way I wanted to share my work and take any suggestions for new models. Also I would like to know if there are other people in this fandom
  6. From the album: Minecraft Macross update 8-20-15

    Hikaru, Max, and Millia
  7. Hey all - this one's been itching (in my head) to be made for ages - so this morning I put aside my 'real' work and started to make this kick-ass head sculpt by Tenjin-sama. Still needs some angles to be tweaked and the back portion and internals to be made, but it will be done soon - but we'll have to wait for a while for a print to get to me to make sure it's all good. Unless people trust me enough to just make it available. I will include a few laser options - as the concept art has them splayed at about 15 degree each side where as the current 1/60 are nearly parallel - they're also 2mm wide at the tip, just like the current one - but may be too fragile. Seeing if I can make the visor removable for separate painting too. Anyways, progress as it happens, enjoy. Feedback welcome.
  8. Was cleaning up my portfolio and decided to actually render out some images of my head-unit sculpts I made for the 1/60 line - other than have crappy screen caps. So enjoy, Wow, gotta love the way the images compress... Here's a link to them in better resolution; https://cdn.artstation.rocks/p/assets/images/images/000/421/271/large/chris-vera-vf-0c-head-sculpts.jpg?1421837295 https://cdn.artstation.rocks/p/assets/images/images/000/421/272/large/chris-vera-vf-1j-head-sculpts.jpg?1421837329 https://cdn.artstation.rocks/p/assets/images/images/000/421/273/large/chris-vera-vf-4k-head-sculpts.jpg?1421837362 https://cdn.artstation.rocks/p/assets/images/images/000/421/270/large/chris-vera-vf-head-sculpts-exploded.jpg?1421836646
  9. According to this Tweet, at the studioRECKLESS booth they'll be selling 20 Armored VF-1J conversion kits. You'll need the Hasegawa 1/72 Battroid kit to go with this. Price ¥17,000

Update 2 of my Bandai Fighter Collection (mostly series 1 with a few series 2) at my desk at work.
  12. Sorry if it is somewhat off topic, but this seemed the best location for it. Palladium is doing a kick starter for their Robotech mass combat game, and the models looked very nice and are in the common micro armor scale. Though you diorama folks might be interested in checking it out. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rrpgt/robotech-rpg-tacticstm
  13. I'm not sure if this has been posted yet. Did a quick search and didn't see anything, Awesome Lego VF-1J with Armor. It'd even transformable. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/638 Mod's, feel free to move, lock or delete.
